suffolk county republican leadership & the huntington le
as i expect, grucci loses the seat today in the recounts, apollaro must resign.
The question is, who leads ?? Are we going to stick wiith tired old retreads ??? lets return the leadership to western suffolk. huntingtons mastroianni demonstrated substantial success in this election , (raia, flanagan etc) he deserves the shot.. in my view, he certaintly cant do worse than anyone else. gaffney has very high negatives and can be beaten in the next election. Scully, demartini, demarzo etc, losers all . gaffney is the biggest do - nothing on the planet .... as a bedrock republican , even i dont know if i can vote for him... But. if there were a major leadership change, and someone lit the fire under gaffneys butt, the next term is do-able lets hear your views

Youre scaring me...you are right on Appolaro but way off on Mastrionanni. How could you credit him for Flannghan. Any Chair would pay money for a candidate like him. And Raia? He had a team that did well despite the party-most notably his mother. Did you see her ad the last weekend. Look at Huntington Town Hall and give credit to Tony M. Its democratic Headquarters. He has lost the Board and every job there. He has let Petrone run everything, took republicans money and Tony M never had the courage to step up to the issue. There would have been people who would have primaried Petrone. Remeber the last Town Board mess - Cappadano won by 32 votes. And other inspiring candidates-Stubbolo, Kushner etc. He also does not reach out to any new talent. That is happening right now without him in meetings. If he was county leader you can guartee Petrone wins County executive and every job will go like Huntington.....

Chair Tony M is the worst possible choice for county leader. He is controlled by a crazy German who is a has-been and who once took pay-offs from the Department of Transportation. Thats the last thing we need. He and his german friend need to be ousted in Huntington.
Andrew Raia and John Flanagan both won their elections due to their campaigns and som help from the committee GOP. The committee is fractured in Huntington.

i'm open minded.... you show me , your viable and i'll give it serious consideration

if mastrioanni goes.... apollaro must go.... at least tony m won this year....... you dont fire a winning manager... when does the committe meet to discuss and decide such matters??????? is it done annually??

Tony M...Is a well known citizen, Tony is an amazing leader, and shows great leadership to Huntington..We should all be very proud to have him as our chairman..He might be over the age of sixty(60) though there is no apparent reason for him to step down at any cost..think back at all of those years that he's helped our people out in many ways..And for the people that disagree, you need to wake up and realize that your all like 90 and all of you need to retire..you have absolutely no clue for what your talking about either/or doing. i'd like to know one time where you've all achieved such a high standard for this town. Try to except the fact that tony is more important and liked then have of you assholes..and he will never retire until HE feels it is needed...Tony still has many years to go, and help US ALL! HE still has a wife, An amazing daughter and granddaughter, which both will probably fill his shoes in a matter of time..so if you feel that you want to get rid of tony..think twice..because his grandchild and/or daughter will most likely take over before any of you jerks work your way up to become nothing.and whoever wrote this disgusting piece can deal with me, because I will not stand for something this terrible, his friend IS NOTHING MORE THAN A FRIEND not a GERMAN FRIEND but a friend..a very good friend indeed and he doesn't;t have to deal with your bullshit..your not even MAN enough to say who you are ...your a Coward and always will be ...until YOU stand your ass up and tell that to Tony's face..and then we'll see who lets people walk all over them.And maybe if your ass was able to spell then I wouldn't have to have this reply be so detailed and in thought.And the sad part is, is that theres spell check after you type your comment and you still can't spell...or your just to old to see..back done...your nothing and never will be ...your a wannabe tony Mastroinni!!
