I wonder how many departments from Nassau and Suffolk County have laughed in the face of the State Attorney General's office by disregarding the rules and have sent 3-4 Chiefs, 4-5 Commissioners, and God knows how many Captains, Lieutenants, firefighters and their wives/significant others at taxpayer expense in defiance of the law in the name of "training and education"?

Baltimore is just about as close as Lake George or Syracuse, Rochester, and closer than Buffalo. To use some common sense you can't send someone driving 5 hours to Baltimore but you can send them to a conference in Buffalo with an 8 hour distance?? Our department sent one commissoner, one chief and 6 firefighters, I hear the highlight was the Orioles game, the Commissoner brought his wife, and is the same commissioner who has now attended three conferences, has another scheduled yet refuses to attend Dept functions like open house, picinic, department meetings, money mania and didnt even have the decency to go to the fallen firefighters memorial for one their own fallen firefighters something alot of members took notice and are furious about, he is alieniating the membership with his attitude, kind of like the guy he replaced and oh yeah he went and ordered a chiefs vehicle NOBODY wanted..and we have four more years of this jerkoff
