You're one of the lucky ones then; everyone I know is acquainted with someone who is suffering at some level, ther from a loss of a job, inability to pay for needed health care, and so on. Maybe from where you sit life is rosy but that does not make it so for the rest of the country. Just because it doesn't affect you (yet) doesn't invalidate what's going on.

hey i think that GW is out of control as far as spending and this amnesty proposal. I am mad has heck but I hardly think that America is going to hell at l not because of rampant govt spending.

I am not doing all that well, I work 4 low paying jobs and my wife works about 70 hours a week in a job that could dry up tomorrow. We can't afford a house where we live and my hair is falling out. I also have severe foot pain,no degree a substance abuse issue and I live in the ghetto. But I do have a wonderful daughter some good friends god given charm and a will to work hard for what i need. I don't blame the govt for my shortcomings and I don't expect social programs to bail me out of my responsability to do better. Life is what you make of it and life in America is a better start than alot of the world gets I am happy. Critical theory, bitchin and blamng is all you liberals do. The worst part is that you people by in large have had a better life than I yet still can't enjoy it .:">
