If you lived in coram your fire taxes are higher then police, without the 1/3 deduction from police taxes that go elsewhere, likewise gordon hts.

I am not sure why we have two groups airing out there differences here on this site, but I can only say that it can not produce any fruitful conversation or solution to your problems. Suffolk Cops make a lot of money, so what! The fact that these guys are able to pay thr bills, etc. has absolutely no bearing on you or whatever your problem is. As far as the PO's on here - guys - don't even start to think you should be throwing any stones here. Because by and large at my FD we treat every Officer as one of the family, and as such we see a lot. Nothing I'll print here because I do have a sense of honor and what happens at the FD stays at the FD, (kind of like Vegas). After reading a few posts on here it appears that you have one azzhole FF who doesn't like you guys for some reason. This is why we as FF are always trying to get the State to chnage the rules and allow us to do COMPLETE criminal backround checks on our new applicants. Currently we can only check for in State Arson arrests and any State Arson convictions. Sorry for the sh!tbird posting on here, but just remember you guys are no saints ther and the stories that could be told would only stand to embarrass you all.
