This is adding up to countless billions of dollars a year nationwide of taxpayer's money. Because of America's corporate thirst for cheap labor America is fast becoming a third world country. The needs of all these poor immigrants legal and illegal can not be meet while trying to care for our long term citizens. Balkinization has begun.

The president is expected to make his annual trip to the border on Thursday to greet returning Mexicans on the country's Day of the Migrant.

Even so, some migrants say that police still prey upon them in central Mexico, beyond the focus of the Paisano program.

Fox reached out to Mexicans living in the United States during his presidential campaign and after taking office. He has strengthened Mexico's U.S. consul system and often calls migrants "national heroes."

"He is the only person who has spoken for the undocumented migrants," said Cristina Reyes, a factory worker in West Virginia waiting to get a government import permit for her family's van. "Maybe what he is promising is all lies, but at l he is talking about it."

Yet some complain that Fox's inability to achieve a migration accord with the United States means he has fallen short on his promise to be the president of all Mexicans, both at home and abroad.

"His term is almost over, and it's a shame he has achieved nothing," said Maria Mendiola, who works in a lumber factory in Georgia and was traveling with her husband and sister-in-law.

Mendiola, 37, and her husband crossed into the United States illegally. They plan to return north in a few weeks.

"He promised to create jobs here, but where are they?" Mendiola said. "For the undocumented, our president hasn't done much."

Lou Dobbs is having a series all week on this subject. He is doing a great job of exposing the Illegal immigration problem for what it is, as well as exposing greedy American profiteers who are selling out thr own country. They are moving all the jobs out of our country. He even gives a running list of the companies that are doing this. It is a huge list. At l you will know who to boycott and who is selling out thr own country for the Almighty dollar. I am sure Bushco is a charter member of THAT club. Amnesty for the ballooning population of Illegal Immigrants????????????? That's absurd. Is Bush for us or against us??????

I am so glad that Mr Dobbs has the intestinal fortitude to take this subject!!! I find the polls on his web site amazing in that the illegal argument is null but in the real world most are silenced by the PC. Lets be honest with ourselves and try not to pretend people standing in streets for jobs and giving jobs away to forgners is the American way. Is that's what our fore fathers envisioned for the US in the 21 century??

Very true. We should also ask ourselves...??? Is rewarding unlawful behavior with amnesty the moral and fair thing to do?
Putting law breaking aliens above the good immigrants who are willing to follow our laws ,and patiently wait thr turn is a travesty of justice. . We are turning our backs on all the good people of the world who do the right thing, as well as law abiding American citizens.
Is allowing illegal criminal immigrants to be above the law ...the American way.???? American citizens are required to play by the rules but others can thwart them???? This stinks to high heaven. I bet if you made some fair and sane choices to the illegals, then you would see them more willing to return to thr country of origin. Give them 2 choices. 1- Return to your country of origin immediately and THEN we won't prosecute you . (Now that's Amnesty right there) a free give away for criminals. They don't have to pay for thr crimes. They get a get out of jail pass for free.
They can re enter America under a LEGALLY CONTROLLED guest worker program and eventually go through the LEGAL channels for attaining citizenship.
or......????? spend time in our jails for the felony's that they committed here by jumping our borders, circumventing our tax laws while working illegally in our country, having American citizens pay for educating thr children in our schools etc, etc. and accepting free services (medical etc) that were meant for U.S. citizens only. If they agree to this then, and then only can they proceed to join our society through legal channels that every other immigrant in the world has to go through in order to attain American citizenship. Including my own mother. She is an immigrant who did the right thing. These illegal immigrants are getting away with wholesale murder(just a figure of speech for all the PC's out there)
If this policy was implemented then we would see the huge flow of immigrants get under control. And we might have some semblance of National security at our borders.

I should now be allowed to go to Mexico without going through thr Customs and steal all of Mexicos money and then leave, come home and then go back every few months.
