Craig What'shisname from the Congressional Quarterly was on MSNBC this morning explaining that VP Dick gets an ANNUAL SALARY, although defferred, from Haliburton. That the value of that salary id greater than his salary as VP. That he also has stock options and an insurance policy that pays him if Haliburton can't.

Now please, all you Right Wing-Nuts, explain how he's getting away with lying about it. And how this is LES important than BC lying about a BJ?

I think what most people don't understand is that this Bush administration has made misinformation and misdirection thr standard policy. I've never seen a presidential administration that's more devoted to keeping the American public in the dark about it's policies and actions.

This fact isn't even hidden. Donald Rumsfeld has said on several occasions that it's his policy to misdirect, and misinform. It's ther that, or the terrorists win, of course.

Is there anyone else that can see that once you base a government on lying and secrecy, democracy becomes a complete farce?
