View Full Version : When will the lying end?

One has to wonder if the lies coming from W's Administration will ever end?
Here's the latest. The stated reason for not allowing France, Germany & Russia to bid on Iraqi rebuilding contracts was that it "is not in the National Security interests of the United States." So says Wolfowitz. Why not? I haven't a clue. (By the way, not letting EVERYBODY bid means American taxpayers don't get the lowest possible price. But what does W care. His class, as Leona once said, doesn't pay taxes.)
But turns out that's NOT the reason. Yesterday W told the world it was beacuse he was a vindictive little bully.
But, and catch this, the Saudis & Kuwaits, both who helped about as much as the French, CAN bid!
He wants the Europeansto give Iraq debt relief. OK fair point. EXCEPT HE HASN'T ASKED THE SAUDIS FOR DEBT RELIEF.
Face it, we're bng bleeed dry by W for his corp & Saudi friends.........and why not; you ain't gonna see a Bush child bng shot at in Iraq!

And when you limit who can or cannot bid on government contracts, we, as taxpayers, get ripped off to the tune of SIXTY ONE MILLION DOLLARS by the Halliburtons of the world - who are supposed to be our friends and allies because they were not against the war. I guess they had to recoup the money they gave to the election campaigns somehow.
You wanna tell me that BushCo was SURPRISED by the blatant price gouging?

It is sickening to watch. And all the while you are watching there is the feeling that this idiot is actually holding back. Because if he ever wins in 2004...God help ALL AMERICANS!
bush has used 9/11 to abuse America'sgood name with our allies..the American tax-payers and the American legal system. Many in washington are aware of far more than you and but are afraid of reprisals.
That is why Dean is such a threat to them. The fact that this guy is not the candidate yet and bush already has his GESTAPO's out digging up dirt on him tells you they are concerned. And I'll tell you why they are concerned. Dean is not an insider, unlike the rest of the field he does not know or care that he shouldn't make certain statements.
The guy speaks his mind, and he does not waver when he does so. He does not flinch...and this strong determine posture is unlike the rest of the field bush is used to kicking around since he took office.
I no longer care as much about the issues..because even if what the other candidates are saying is correct they lack the conviction to have thr statements resonate the way Dean does!
For example bush has the press touting the rebounding economy. One of the barometer is the DOW..at 10,000.
BUT WHEN BUSH TOOK OFFICE THE DOW WAS 11,400.
So if you bought an index based on the DOW with $1 in 2000...today 3 years later you would have less than a $1, even before making the adjustment for the time-value of money! Why should anybody cheer 10,000? Its only saying loud and clear...3 YEARS LATER WE ARE STILL IN A HOLE!
Dean has that intangible you cannot get by graduating with an MBA. Its similar to what Michael Jordon has..its something your just born with. And thats beginning to worry REPUGS! Because with all the 'F" ratings bush has many still give him an 'A" for bng a strong leader....and the more he acts like an old spoiled southern RED-NECK the more the love him! Thay can still compare him with Democrats and say democrats are weak...except when it comes to Dean!

Dems are losers in 2004. Put your energy into 2008 when Hillary(ious) will be the frontrunner. THEN we can all say "God help America"! Why do you think Hillary will not dare run in 2004? Answer: Because she knows Bush is a winner and Dean is a loser! HELLOOOOOOOO!

that she would serve her full term in the Senate. I know that George W. backed out of his similar promise in Texas, but maybe Hillary feels she has to honor her word.
As for not letting France and Germany bid in Iraq....it keeps them from actively participating in the war. Our allies paid for 90% of the first Gulf War; the democratic candidates see a need for bringing in more allies, but it seems Republicans can't understand that the US is going to go broke unless someone gets the message that we don't have unlimited funds.

Not quite sure of your point. I did notice that you left out:
Kennedy
Johnson
Carter
Clinton
But cited:
FDR
Truman
Gee, with the exception of 1948 the other number you used were during or immediatly after WW!!. How convienent of you to leave THAT fact out.
Guess you learned tha trick from Sean Innsanity and/or Tom Delay who does this kind of crap all the time and then whines when critics tell the truth.
Delay called Dean "a liar" when Dean said that this was the highest dciet in history. Then tried to cover his ass by saying it "wasn't" if looked at as % of GDP. Are you right wing-nuts geneticly incapable of telling the truth?
But then again, it's not likly you know the truth when you see it
