Eddie G, the Chair of the RNC, has taken to calling all criticism of Bush "hate speech" and his lackeys have been following the talking point as well.
Well, I came across this little ditty on a site selling a talking Ann Coulter doll:
"Liberals hate America, they hate flag-wavers, they hate abortion opponents, they hate all religions except Islam, post 9/11. Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like Liberals do. They don't have the energy. If they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now."
? Ann Coulter
Now boys & girls tell me; Who uses hate speech?

Sometimes the US seems to be Communist. People in the US can get into trouble for speaking against the president. Michael Moore, the American author who has written 2 or 3 anti-Bush books, was threatened by the publishers at first that they will not publish his books because they were anti-US President. But that sounds more like the way that a Communist country would act. In Ceausescu's Romania, people were shot or tortured if they were ever anti-Ceausescu.

It's interesting how, with all the anti-communist fever in this country, the political climate IS pretty similar. People are punished for speaking out against the regime. Lucky for us, most of the consequences are financial in nature, as opposed to outright executions. The more in the public eye you are, the more susceptible to a smear campaign, if and when you say something the power elite doesn't like. But the effect is the same as Stalinist Russia, and actually MORE like Tsarist Russia before it.

It took Ann five years to get her first book published and all the conservative outlets turned her down. She's published by a liberal publisher. Bottom line is always money.
