"Reality" is just an imperialistic American, who thinks that the US should continue to go around the globe and rob small countries of thr wealth. The US didn't invade iraq to liberate its people. They went to Iraq to get its oil. The bombing of Iraq was just an excuse for the Imperial American Government to send in American companies to do all the necessary repair work.
And just because the US liberated France and other European nations during World War II (with the help of Britain and her allies, of course) does not mean that France must agree on everything that the US does in the world today. Not everything that the US does is right (i.e. the bombing of Iraq), so why should France support the US on something that most of the world disagrees with? When the US is doing something wrong, why should the French support the US? If the US decided to bomb Paris do you think that the French will allow you to do it just because you liberated them 60 years ago?

I think the problem is Americans are so isolated from the rest of the world, that it's easy for us to fall into that archaic nationalistic attitude.
But it's not like this is a new attitude. The American continent was seen as ours for the taking, despite Mexico's claim on much of it, not to mention the native Americans.
Hawaii too, we basically held thr queen hostage, and forced them to join America, because of it's strategic importance.
It's so wrd how Americans now somewhat realize the tragedy of how we treated the native Americans, but I swear 9 out of 10 people totalyl deny we've been doing basically the same thing to the rest of the world ever since. America really thinks it can and should call the shots for the rest of the world, without any regard to the will of the people we impose our values upon.

Billybob, you are free to commit treason against the United States, along with other well known open border advocates such as Noam Chomsky, Alan Greenspan, Peter King and Rudi Giuliani(doesn't he look like an old women). However, when the United States erupts into a civil war in ten years or less as a direct consequence of the open borders immigration policy that you fanatically promote, you and the aforementioned treasoners will be held accountable.

Uh, and since when do I advocate OPEN borders? Is it easier for you just to lump people into broadstroke opinions? If you want to know what I think about a certain issue, you have to ASK. You are in no way qualified to think you know me. How can I say that? Because you DON'T know me!

..despite all the money and technology we have in this country...the last 3 years has shown a side of America I've never seen. That is, we are very much the same as the brain-washed lunatics that bombed us on 9/11!
We are like Mike Tyson in a suit and tie...we're only dressed up..but the mentality is very much there!
Nothing else can explain why bush gets more popular for acting like an old southern red-neck! One of the things that amazed me when I look at the history of Germany was..how did the people allow Hitler to grow so strong? Surely there must have been some warning that this man was a lunatic. Well we see it happening right here in America today. If bush wants to bimb Iran, N Korea, China, London...Jamaica...DO YOU THINK ANYBODY CAN STOP HIM?
We may be able to delay him...but based on what I see this guy is above the law right now!

If it was about oil we would have taken in the first Gulf War.
France had it's own motives not to want to see Saddam removed.

Very convincing little statistic, there. I'm really buying it, really.
I especially like the sarcastic comments. Those are in every objective rapport. Really, they are. Seriously.
Unless it's a joke, of course. Than you should ignore what I said. But if it is, it's not really funny.
