Does anyone know how many classes will be off this test? I heard 2 but I don't see how that is possible!

Levy is not going to authorize a class until he has the new pd contract the way he wants it. So he really had no intention of hiring anyone till then and he just took $100 from 40,000 people and did who knows what with it. Now the next test they will have to hire less qualified people because they will need so many officers at that point so they will have to go very low on the list. Makes no sense to me. A better quality officer can save you millions in the long run and they are going to miss out on the opportunity to hire the best off of this list and instead hire more people and less quality off the next test..all to save a few bucks in the short term! Policing is not a 9-5 job and it can't be treated like one. Crimials don't commit crime on a schedule to reduce ot. PD is not the place to be making the cuts and the county will pay dearly in the years to come. GET OUT WHILE YOU CAN!

... the whole taking $100 from all those people with no intention of putting a class in is going to be a problem for him and Suffolk. They'll need to put at l one class in off the list.

Mr. Levy is not immune from political pressure. It is apparent since he didn't want to put the current class in that picked up on 12/07, but yet its in...

BETTER QUALITY OFFICERS? Are you crazy? You call SCPD cops QUALITY? Sure, we have some superstars, but the majority are lazy, spoiled, complaining little brats. Don't tell me that my statement is not true because I work with them and see and hear it first hand.
