there is NO similarity.

Japan attacked us.............Iraq didn't

Germany declared war on the US.............Iraq didn't

In WW2 EVERYBODY shared the burden..........in Iraq only the poor & middle class bear the burden.

the kids of the poor & middle class serve. not the children of the rich. the war is paid for by the middle class while the rich get big tax cuts.

can anyone imagine FDR cutting taxes on the rich during WW2?

it's amazing: we're told that we're fighting for "our way of life" but those with the most to loose are asked to sacrafice the l. and those with the l to loose are asked to sacrifice the most.........

Why would it odd? Because Clinton had said that Hussn had WMD? He did say it. It may or may not have been true at the time. My sense it is wasn't. And there IS a difference between lobbing a few cruise missles at a few targets and invading.

And as we've just learned, yet again, that Wolfie was pushing for war by 9/15/01.

Because of W's ineptness we're stuck. we can't cut & run as we did in Lebanon and Somolia. The stakes are now too high. And that's W's fault.

Iraq was no threat to us. There was/is no link between them and 9/11. And the argument that it's better ti fight them there than here is falasious.

If they could get even 1 terrorist here he'd be here. They're flowing into Iraq to push us out and set up another "Islamic Republic".

Hundreds of Americans are dead..........thousands are wounded.........there will be more.

It didn't have to happen.
