By now you all know what the General had to say vis Islam & Christianity.
What's important is the reaction, or lack ther of, to what he said.
W has had very little to say. Two reasons:
1. He agrees with the General. He BELIEVES God made him President. And if THAT'S not reason enough to get rid of him I don't know what is?
2. W's afraid of, or more likely agress with, the fundementalist Christians in this country.
Now look at Falwell's reaction. And this IS important. He has a direct pipeline to W.
1. When asked if he agreed with Boykin, he said "yes" - ofcourse.
2. When asked on CNN if the God of Islam is the God of Judeo/Christian theology he said "no". And why "no" is VERY important.........since the God of Islam in NOT Jesus then that God is an idol. THAT means that Jews also pray to an idol God.
What that tells you is all the BS from the fundementalist Christians about the "Judeo-Christian" heritage is something they say but don't believe. They want to force this country to thier belief structure. Which is why they MUST be oppossed at every turn.
Oh! And thisis funny, Falwell said that yes, God DID make W President. When asked if that meant God made Clinton President he said, "Yes. But sometimes God is angry wit us." ..........absolutly true!
So, lets see if I have this right:
God is angey makes BC prez. we get 8 years of peace and prosperity
God is happy with us....gives us W. we get war & recession.........
maybe the old testament is right and it IS a vengfull God
