In Riverhead they steal or allow to stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars. They also let drunks get on trucks for years and did nothing untill someone got hurt, now they blame everyone but them selves.

I think station officers are great if you have more than one fire house. It assures you that you are most likely to always have an officer on the truck. What if all of the "company officers" respond out of the same house. Hey, if you want to roll like that with out an officer, fine but if I was a commissioner I would want to ensure my firefighters are in safe direction of an officer. My fire house has station officers and it works out great.

IF IT'S NOT BROKEN WHY FIX IT? MY COMPANY WAS FORMED IN THE 1890'S TO ABOLISH ALL THAT HISTORY FOR SOME EX-CHIEFS NOW COMMISH'S WHO REALLY JUST STILL WANT TO BE CHIEFS IS REALLY NOT RIGHT!!!!
