The American Psychiatric Association in June engaged in a debate to remove pediphila as a mental disorder.
This action obvioulsy calls into question thr judgement. As a former investigator employed by the NYC Child Welfare Administration, I find it chilling that this would even be discussed. A child does not have the capacity to make informed judgements about engaging in sex with adults. This is common sense.
If that does not scare you, the American Civil Liberties Union is pursuing a legal therory that children have the right to engage in sex with adults. It was show cased on Fox's Bill O'Rlly.
Its time to make your voices heard. When society attempts to provide protections based on sexual conduct, it blurrs the line in what is appropriate. This gives rise to moral relativism. If its right to you, it must be appropriate.
