Regarding the 'leak' situation and the white house it seems that just like always nothing can deter this mindless president.
Yesterday several CIA representatives voiced there dismay at the leaking of data on one of thr operatives (night-line). These men ...ARE ALL REGISTERED REPUBLICANS! And there shouts were not merely for justice..THEY ARE BEGGING BUSH TO CALL OFF HIS DOGS!
Instead of trying to come clean on this matter bush still has his hired guns out-there trying to dig up dirt on Wilson! Still after all this ..trying to use the media to de-fame this man's character!
Why are the CIA concerned! It is sending tremendous shock-waves through the ranks of the men out in the field with thr lives on the line! They are cared to death of what might transpire because of this president! In addition if this gets any uglier they could encounter serious diffculties attracting quality people to do this kind of work!
In thr mind..it is clear this situation has crossed the line of partisan politics!
But still the white cannot see how this act differs from for example ..digging up dirt on Bill Clinton or Gray Davis digging up dirt on Arnold!
The CIA operatives are distraught that here you have a President telling America he will get Al Quida..when getting Bin Laden and Saddam requires the work of these very operatives ...it is mind numbing to them that this president don't seem to grasp the magnitude of this situation!
And while we are on the subject if the President cannot ..QUICKLY....and I mean QUICKLY flush out and punish who was responsible...is this guy capable of protecting America!
How much leadership is he showing BY ALLOWING THIS TO DRAG ON?
Reporters cannot give up thr sources? WHY? This is not a law of nature ..LIKE GRAVITY..these are man-made laws and in times of crisis these laws can be circumvented! Thats what I heard Americans saying shortly after 9/11...normally we would look the other way but in todays climate if you look middle-ern and boarding plane ..we want to take a closer look at you!
Remember when the whitehouse was saying that they could not give up thr highly kept information to the UN inspectors in Bahgdad? Remember they kept saying that telling the UN inspectors where to look will reveal thr sources etc. etc. I said BU@LSh#T to that argument..in fact that when I knew that something was suspicious with bush stories.
In my view the US at the time had the power to tell the UN inspectors ...GO LOOK OVER THERE...and don't ask why!
Here again we have a similar situation...WE WANT TO KNOW THIS ONE SOURCE..THIS ONE TIME!
MY GOD REPUGS ONLY HAVE TO SHOW THE SAME ZEAL AND PASSION THEY SHOWED TRYING TO FIND THE STAINED DRESS TO QUICKLY SOLVE THIS ISSUE!
But nothing gets in thr way of partisan politics! Not Arnold with with a history of violating women....you love Hitler put you are a Republican....you are fine ..thats all that matters!
