Out of the many districts going for election, the congressional district of 22nd is an important one. The district is in great need for a pro-active, responsive and efficient leadership. It is on the lookout of a representative who can uphold the conservative values of the district and stand up for thr rights. This can be possible only through a person who has lived in the state and experienced the issues faced by the residents there. He or she needs to be a person who symbolizes the very culture of Texas and has his or her loyalties in this district. Only a person who has stayed in the district can come up with a solution for its problems, in a better way than any of the Washington insider or lobbyist.
Among the problems faced by the residents of Texas 22nd, illegal immigration is the most disturbing. The country is broken at the borders allowing illegal immigrants to enter, putting the national security under doubt. There is a requirement for comprehensive immigration reforms which can curb the inflow of illegal immigrants. Besides illegal immigration, there is also the problem of high taxes. The high taxes paid by the families make them forego a major chunk of thr paycheck. As a result, the families are able to retain only a small portion of thr paycheck, adding financial pressure on them. The issues of national security and global terrorism also should to be dealt hands on.
