All i can say is wow. McCray sings for inmates on her days off, coddles them and basicly rats others out and helps inmates with unfounded grievances against fellow officers and i'm a retard? My cousin is an upstate C/O and he's blown away at the fact that no one in grey cares about this at all.

Agreed. I was NYPD 5 years before I came out to SC. Her locker would've been thrown out the window and she would probably be have been automatically transferred.

Don't feel bad brother! I've had to work along side of her too many times and she is a train wreck. If she's not sucking up to or singing for the inmates, she's bad mouthing or back stabbing co's to the inmates. One way or another, they have got to get rid of her. She is a waste and a bad move on the dept. for hiring her.

I'm not sure of a couple of the names you posted as initials are kinds hard to figure out with almost 900 co's but I can't think of an officer as bad as mccray when it comes to stabbing others in the back or taking sides with a lying, stinking skid instead of a fellow officer. Post all the initials you want but I can't see how you can top a loser like her.

Have you EVER talked to her?? Have you ever gotten to know her??? Because I have and let me tell you something: She is a skid. She really thinks, acts and talks like a skid and the skids are her friends, many times her ONLY friends. I can't believe that no supervisor would step up to protect the rest of us from her.

I don't have O's & P's, the SCSO does and yes, she violates them every shift she works but ask yourself this: even though she acts like a skid and violates the O's & P's every day, if I were to write it up and submit it, who do you think everyone would be talking about? Which one of us would be the bad person?

It is the supervisors job to take her aside and teach her how to be a c/o instead of a skid, not mine. It's also not my job to avoid her at work as there's supposed to be a system in place that keeps skids out of a uniform.

What is wrong with someone helping a person who is down ? ? maybe making the person feel better about the mistakes they made and feel if given another chance they could make a better decision. What do jails do ? Isn't part of the thr function to rehabilitate the inmates so they can move back into communities and function ? not all inmates are disposeable. what should we do with these people when they are done paying thr debt to society?

A correction officers job is the Care, Custody & Control of inmates. Now that we can rule out Custody & Control, I'm guessing your reffering to the "Care" portion of thier job. To "Care" for an inmate is to feed, clothe and to make sure thr medical & mental health needs are taken care of. NOT to coddle, to cry with, to sing to, to massage, to date, to pray with, to bring in wendy's for or anything else that would violate the O's & P's or the "Care, Custody & Control portion of thr job. The rehab unit of the facility is there for the inmates' spiritual and otherwise "Other Needs" portion of thr stay and it is the outside agencies that come into rehab to perform these functions with or to inmates. Rehab officers are present again for "Care, Custody & Control and as an officer, if you are doing anything else but, YOU ARE WRONG.

Helping a human bng is a great thing to do and correction officers do it 24/7 but coddling them and giving them a false sense and picture of correction officers is not helping them and does nothing for the inmate except confuse them about thr relatinship with c/o's. It makes it harder on the c/o's that do thr job as the confused inmate now thinks ALL c/o's are supposed to sing to them and coddle them. it's wrong and it's dangerous. As far as judgement day in concerned, are you saying that because i do my job as a c/o and don't violate the rules concerning treatment of inmates that i will somehow end up in hell??
