Suozzi's bid for County Executive was premised upon a need to end machine politics, and the political management which accompanies it. Keeping useless dead wght on board because they allegedly "knew things" was a practice which Suozzi criticized in the past.

This is not a question of merely believing things. Suozzi is marketed as a reformer, not only by his own self serving pronouncements, but by the 4th estate. Suozzi came of age political in the aftermath of 9/11/01 and as a call to both resolve Nassau's fiscal crisis and restore confidence in government. All I am saying is that he is a disappointment to anyone who truly wanted change. Your cynicism is the reason why the system continues to fail. And misserve the people.
