Here's just one example - Car 901 patrolling the Wantagh Train station tis morning at 11:25am walking the parking lots for expired registrations to increase Nassau County revenues and maintain his monthly quota.
A fine way to use taxpayers dollars, Commisioner Mulvey?

As I recall your supposed to have your car registered every year. Seems like the officer was doing his job, and acting as a deterent for car thieves by his mere presence there. Wasn't there an article in the papers a few weeks ago about GPS and other objects bng stolen from cars parked at RR stations. I don't think the operator of Car 901 was the only officer working the the county that day. The public was bng well protected, as they are 365 days a year (or in the case of this year 366 days), by the dedicated officers of the Nassau County Police Department. With reference to quotas; I don't think there are any quotas. The officers can write as many summons as they want to, after all it is part of the job.
QUOTAS??

Just like the other poster said, there is no car 901. If you paid closer attention to numbers and details, you probably would have noticed that the numbers on your registration or inspection sticker were expired and therefore you never would have recieved the summons.
