Huge jump in fees approved on Monday night and not one mention in Tuesday's or Wenesday's papers.

What gives? Not newsworthy?

$25.00 for a Lesiure Pass!!! and much more!! Golf fees increase!!

Call the Commissioner at 572-0272 and find out how much more you'll spend to golf and swim.

Here's list of recommemded new fees published on Newsday's website just 2 weeks earlier:

Keep the park, its doomed. Liesure pass for what, they don't enforce it, i remember a time when if you did'nt have it, you could'nt enter the park. Riding my bike through last summer was a sight that might as well as been Brooklyn. Kids taking baths in the water spouts, with soap. The area around the soccer fields were so unorganized and full of gang activity, parking and riding my bike through praying that nothing happened to me or my vehicle, the stumbling vagabonds that pee and crap all over and deter people from using running paths. Where are the mounted police that once was, the Rangers patrolling the picnic areas. Here's an idea, split the park in half and make it affordable housing for seniors, who have maintained a home for a minimum of 25 years in Nassau County, the people who never asked for food stamps, welfare, free heating oil, or free health care. They are the ones that need the help now and have sacraficed to pay thr dues.

Newsday ignored it because the County Administration can do nothing wrong. You're right- the lsure pass is an unnecessary , expensive and redundant joke. Talk about tax caps? What about the obscured ones disguised as a fee?

It's all in the plan for a better Nassau. Those kids with the soap were relatives of Lopez and the vagrants are Suozzi supporters from Buffalo.

Lopez only qualification is the son in law of Suozzi's biggest contributor.

Those people who congregate in senhower Park spend the weekend in Sunken Meadow State Park - Hispanics, Blacks and White Trash ruin a nice day in the park.

Hopefully, Suozzi will check the immigration status of those entering the senhower Park.

Maybe the park should be renamed Hispanic Free For All Center.

The senior citizens protested to the Nassau County legislators...but the
Democrats were too busy and ignored them.
They are now forced to pay for the pool and the gym (senior citizens do not
lift wghts too much and don't want the gym) instead of the pool alone.
So now instead of $220 they will pay $375. The Democrats voted as a bloc...
10 votes for the raise in fees. IS THERE ONE INDEPENDENT BRAIN AMONG THEM?
