In fact many of them have become friends with us off the job. What had happened was STUPID but could have been avoided or at l worked out.

Frankly the fd I work out of the guys are nice, and many are city pd, fd and a few from the counties jobs. BUT, I still do nothing but take my meals there. I never hang out with them, even though I'm invited to thr monthly meetingsa and grub, just in case I do have to respond to thr homes( and yes I have). As far as no responding to my home.... get real. How many actual fires are there? And what makes you think its going to be at my house, and YOU are the fd thats going to respond? One of your guys came on here to stir the pot well it got stirred. I never here vollys complain about the cops when they need a little courtesy or when they or thr kids are in a jam. I get along very well with the vollys at my relief point but I could take or leave the firehouse. I never just hang out in the FH I don't think it looks good for me. Taxpayeryawn. My car is at the station from 0700 to 2100( 9pm) as it is not in service all day,I've already had a taxpayer complain the car sat there, he actually filmed it. When he was laughed out of iab, he complained about the cop at the pct that didnt tell him the car was downed all day. The cop who took the report advised him it is not his business what cars are and are not in service.
Our cars have gps, everyone can pull up on thr computers and see where the cars are, how fast they are going, and if they are sitting and how long they are sitting. Hq, road sgts, pct supervisors....get my drift?

As of 1000 this morning I've sent a internal correspondence to the C.O. of my command with the post above attached. I've stated that there is a possibility of a subject monitoring/survlling the prescence of police vehicles at the relief points, meal points and other various areas used by the police this weekend. I've suggested flooding the relief points with numerous police vehicles that are not in use for that day. This way whatever the motive is for monitoring these cars, the person will not get a actual read for the amount of police working for the entire dept.
The C.O has not gotten back to me but the X.o. has already contacted the fire dept and requested posting no trespass signs so that anyone found on fd or pd property can be arrested for trespass. The fd has already suggested using thr bays for parking the cars in use.

the police station is also a secured area, there are police weapons, evidence, including weapons and drugs, prisoners, and access to data the public shouldnt have. You simply arent allowed there.
The vollies really have no say in allowing the police to use thr facilities. This is something worked out between the fire dept and police dept. It is actually to the benefit of the public that the police dept turns out of local facilities, as opposed to the precinct.
Personally I dont use the stations. Other then to take a leak.
As far as whats bng posted here, who cares? I've visited many other message boards and seen far worse. This boards quite slow, if you notice a thread put up 3-4 days ago has only been visited 300 or so times. And replies are few and far between. Most of the other police boards have that within a 8 hour period.
Then there are the threads started. For the past year this board has been slammed over and over by a few trolls lacking any credibility. The posts were ridiculous almost pure fantasy based on a actual event. While vulgar language was not used, most of his drivel was among the worst garbage posted here. When proven wrong, he'd have choice words and dissapear.
There were numerous incidents where the troll wished people dead, wished that a terrorist blew up ncpd or a shooter took out all of ncpd. Then there was the posts that basically childish name calling and talked about raping women, cops wives, and numerous posts about nambla.
Somehow thru all this no one complained. There was no fgned indignity or shock over the posts.
Now the boards dead. No one takes anything seriously anymore. Suddenly, out of nowhere a "new" poster who is speaking for all the other posters- checking the stats this board averages less then 10 new posts a day, sometimes none- how ugly and unprofessional this board is NOW. Not when the insults were flying and there was 20 plus posts a day,no... but now. And how all the posters should be acting more professionally on this site. He is told repeatedly that his opinion is acknowledged. But for his own agenda it is pushed, over and over.

I'm going to disagree with you here. Before I get blasted,I have no real love for the police, so dont go there. If the posters are posting while on duty, supposedly earning thr salary, I'll agree. If not, then I dont really care what they are doing. This isnt reality, its a cutesy way of people communicating. I know in reality if some of the stuff was said to a cop, the poster would be in a hospital ward of the jail.

I am not a cop, I do not know how the law works. My understanding was if a cop commits a crime, Internal Affairs investigates and prosecutes. So I brought a legit complaint to them. They explained how to deal with it. So I learned something, and I got the results I wanted. The cop was fined for dumping.

Are you that dumb? Cops are authorized to violate the vtl. Additionally they are authorized to use thr party lites to stop a vehicle, there doesnt have to be a emergency. No special treatment for disrespectful insolent amateurs. If You want to be treated as a professional you must act like one. If you are told to do something just do it.
