I say let's just do it. We've already committed ourselves, its time to put a 'glaze' over the middle anyway.
It doesn't matter who is or becomes our president... the economy now NEEDS a major war to snap out of this 'near' depression it is in. Hell, I'd vote for Patton if he was alive today... its going to take that kind of a leader or we are in deep poop. I'd rather vote for Clark than any that have all those answers "that everybody wants to hear". You've heard the old tale about 'itching ears' haven't you... well it seems a lot of folks ears are itching and thats why there are soooo many 'politicians' running for office this time around.

First, this new shining star of a candidate, retired General Wesley Clark, says the White House called him on September 11, 2001 and asked him to make a connection between Saddam Hussn and al Qaeda/the attacks.
Later, he recanted.
Then, it's revealed he damn near came close to starting World War III over in Bosnia.
After that, we see him smiling and exchanging military head gear with that Mladic murderer.
And, how about that "I probably would have voted for the war - no way in hell I would have voted for the war" reversal in record time. Overnight, I believe.
Now, he claims he would have been a Republican if only Karl Rove had returned his calls.
This is suspicious on two levels.
Why would anyone base thr party affiliation on whether or not they recve a call from Karl Rove? And, as it turns out, this is another lie - - White House phone records show no calls from General Clark.
You guys can sure pick 'em. Is this the rising star former President Bill Clinton and his wife, Senator Hitlery Rodham Clinton are so up on? ?Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.? - - President John Fitzgerald Kennedy

BillyBob... Are You rich? I'm not and there are a whole lot more like me... so if You are rich, maybe you could help a fellow American out with some of that excess money You have? Its obvious that you are such a humanitarian... that you probably couldn't refuse. If you want I'll help you find a family here in the good old US of A that could use some of Your riches.

I see Billybob's post and, I ask again; Are the Demoncrats going over the edge? ?Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.? - - President John Fitzgerald Kennedy

I'm simply responding to this paragraph
"It doesn't matter who is or becomes our president... the economy now NEEDS a major war to snap out of this 'near' depression it is in. Hell, I'd vote for Patton if he was alive today... its going to take that kind of a leader or we are in deep poop. So, if we NEED a war to pull this country out of our economic slump, and war always means killing. Add to that, the fact that America is NEVER the battleground; we have the luxury of bombing the hell out of any other country in the world, and claim the innocent lives lost in the process aren't important. So basically, this country needs to get richer by killing other people. So I ask again, how many people do we need to kill before we have enough money?

I'm sorry, I didn't understand the reference you were making.
Without agreng with the statement to which you were responding, (because I'm not sure I understand what he was saying ther), I would point out that you seem to have forgotten that we have been attacked on our soil. September 11, 2001.
That the U.S. Government is doing it's FIRST Constitutional obligation and trying to insure that doesn't happen again, shouldn't be condemned but applauded. ?Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.? - - President John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Only the LOSER has battles fought in his own country. Plain and simple. Thats the point. We don't intend to LET a battle be fought here... durrrrr.
They want to start it... I think we should be obliged to "finish it". No problem there the way I see it. Would you rather the lives be more from here? Is that what you are saying? Maybe we should fight with pitchforks while they use AK-47's??? Maybe you want your family member there on the frontline holding that pitchfork, all the while protecting your butt?
Come On! At l THINK about what you are saying!!!! Thank God that President Bush knows WHERE to stage a battle!!! That is why HE is president and you only talk about it.... hmmmm?
Is Clark a puppet and are

Personally.... Clark would be the ONLY candidate I would consider from the Democratic Party. Just my honest opinion of the man.

Democratic presidential candidates vie to see who can sound less supportive of the administration's efforts to stabilize and pacify a country ravaged for two decades by murder and oppression -- a country agreeable with, if not complicit in, anti-American terrorism.
Has the Democratic Party lost its mind or just its integrity? The question urgently needs confronting - by independents, Republicans and, most of all, Democrats.

Well, since they never had integrity, I vote for they've lost thr minds. ?Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.? - - President John Fitzgerald Kennedy

In your posts, try replacing the words liberal, democrat, or any variation with the word "Jew". See how much like a Nazi you sound.
You think that's unfair? I thought the lesson we learned from Nazi Germany is how unjust it is to hate ANY group, but a majority of this country seems to think they just hated the WRONG group.

Well, it's nice to hear you converted a demon.
But really, political ideologies are just as ignorant and dogmatic as religious ones. People are still convinced that it's okay to hate someone, based on thr political affiliation. And not only that, but to persecute someone who doesn't believe the same things you do. And there's still that blind-faith phenomenon. People will believe, in the face of MASSIVE evidence, that the system that's been forced upon the is the "right" one, while everything else is "wrong".

Quite interesting that you illustrate your wife's conversion to CONdom as stepping into the light. In many instances, that's considered a sign of death. My sympathies.

Well since Judaism is an ethnicity and a religion, it would be ridiculous (as you've so ably demonstrated) to draw an analogy between the Jews and a political ideology. By the way, where have I ever said I hated anyone? I married a Demoncrat...thank God she wasn't a liberal and only a Demoncrat by registration.
