For one thing, those solar panels look like shit if they are on the front side of your house. I am curious to find out if you need to obtain a permit and/or varience with approval from your nghbors before you mount them on your front roof. I'm all for someone saving a few bucks on there electric bills and helping the environment, but I've seen a few houses with those panels on the fron of there houses and they really are a major eyesore. Lisanne Altmann will show up, and has an independent streak, so its ok that she's at LIPA. I am glad LIPA doesn't pay a fat salary to fat ass Richie Kessel anymore. He was a disaster. Why should LIPA be giving money to civic associations in Port Washington? Its not right. Get rid of the contributions and so called journal advertising, and cut my rates.

I hope you’re right about Lisanne. I’ve had dealings with her and found her to be honest and independent. However, it’s the mere appearance of impropriety and the seductive nature of power, greed and influence that causes concern. In the old days of the Nassau Board of Supervisors, Kessel was an extremist gadfly whose self-appointed mission was to root out corruption and waste at every turn. He was given his position(s) to shut him up. The rest is history
