Agreed, as wrong as that sounds.

I don't understand the concept of Republicans bng Pro-Life and yet not wanting to throw support to welfare. It's a hell of lot cheaper to have an abortion then to pay welfare and give tax breaks on mothers that continue to have kids. To complain about all the dead beat unmotivated people that suck on unemployment and welfare, yet these Republicans want to put out more unwanted children. I don't understand.

Also, the democrats need to stop taking campaign money from lawyers and help pass a bill that limits the amount of money one can sue a doctor for in mal-practice. This will help reduce there insurance and some of the health care costs, at l maybe stablize the rates or go down a little.
Anyway.... it's one giant complex mess that needs an overhaul.

All socialist programs are bng slowly dismantled under G.W. Bush, and rightfully so. I'd rather spend BILLIONS in Iraq than spend one dime on some poor, sick, or old person here. Iraq is rich in oil. Iraq is also a good strategic position for us in the Middle . Iraq has a lot to offer. What do old or sick people here have to offer? If you want healthcare, medicare, social security and other lets-care-about-each-other pansy programs go move to some socialist country in Scandinavia.

And I know some of you are going to hate hearing this, but part of the problem too is illegal immigration...many people cannot afford to pay for emergency health care and thus, American citizens foot the bill...look at Arizona and California's hospitals...even here in New York as well...hospitals are facing large deficits and some are closing as a result...its all tied together
