to the "thinking" conservative on this board.
I would suggest that you read ther/or Connasan's book or Franken's book. Both outline in excruciating detail how you have been manipulated to further the Conservative "elites" agenda.
There will be a natural reaction not believe anything ther has to write. But here's one VERY interesting fact: there has been no, that I can find, response from anyone in ther book that says what ther has to say is factualy correct.
Compare that to Sean Insanity, Bernie "I hate CBS" Goldberg and Frau Geobells----opps, sorry, Coulter, whose tomes have started a cottage industry of colums and web sites pointing out the hundreds and hundreds of outright mistatements and poor methedoligy.
Just one example from Frau Geobells: she did a Lexis/Nexus search on the terms "far right wing" & "far left wing". Seems for the term "far right wing" she left in all the basketball references, i.e."the came from the far right wing". But remembered to remove them for the term "far left wing".
How about that?
And one from Sean Insanity:
In his screed he puts a chart that shows the number of weapons systems ordered by Reagan and then by Clinton. In RR's colum there are ships and and planes. The number is high and for this irrelevant. In BC's colum he shows that BC requested no new ships or fighters. And THAT'S proof BC "gutted" the military. The 2 things Insanity doesn't tell.show you is that many of those ships and sustems just came on line at the end of the Bush and begining of the Clinton administration. Ergo, no immediate need. The other thing he convienently leaves out is the same chart for W which showed in his 1st budget his requests were ALMOST IDENTICAL to Clinton's.
So much for fair and balanced
Borrow from the library if you don't want to buy. I think you'll be interested and disappointed at the same time.
