Who is in charge of holiday decorations in towns within the TOH? The kind you see hanging along main roads on the street poles, such as candy canes or wreathes. I know that the incorporated villages do thier own but what about towns like Baldwin, Merrick, Oceanside, etc.? I'm just curious as to find out if the town itself is responsible or if TOH has controls over them. And what is needed to hang these decorations, such as permits, insurance?

Stay on the North Shore Mr. Kaiman you are not welcome down here in working class land. We CELEBRATE Christmas and Hanukkah. Keep your politically correct communist beliefs to yourself.

Jon Kaiman is the Anti-Christ. I WANT holiday decorations in Oceanside, but it seems our town has had it's holiday decoration rights revoked or surrendered by the powers at large.

In unincorporated villages, it's usually the local Chamber of Commerce that takes charge of decorating the business district/shopping areas.
