Along with another article I posted, the information in this article is what gave me pause, and then later, after it all sunk in, a full turn around in terms of whom I will now support in the presidential election. Please read this article thoroughly and ponder it well.

It's one thing to question a person's commitment to thr religion, and to thr religious principles. This is a hard thing to do, for we can't look inside someone else's heart.
It's almost impossible to determine this from thr words and actions, because we normally don't see or hear the great majority of someone's actions or words. The President of the United States, however, is an exception. We get to hear a great deal of his words, his opinions, his beliefs, and we get to see a great great deal of his actions, both personally and professionally. And since the current occupant of that office supposedly has such great moral clarity, we really can judge him according to what he says and does; he supposedly doesn't mince words, and he's not subject to interpretation. He is what he says and does.
So someone takes the time to clearly compare what Bush says and does with what Jesus supposedly said and did - and told others to say and do.
And there couldn't be a greater gulf between what Bush says and does and what Jesus prescribed - and proscribed - if Bush were a declared Satanist. It's all there in black and white, with no twisting, no interpretation, no convenient shifting of truth to fit the point. While he certainly pretends at every juncture, and pays lip service every day, Bush does not speak and act like a christian.
The twisting and interpretation come from others who try to say that Jesus didn't mean this or Jesus really meant that - but it's clear, to anyone who isn't blinded by ignorance or a wilingness to accept a lesser man in a position of great responsibility because he makes them feel more personally powerful in thr pathetic powerless little lives.
Hypocrites.
