View Full Version : Let's do the Math in CALIFORNIA!

So, here's what the media says:
Californians have a recall vote planned against thr sitting governor, and there are 150 some-odd people ont the ballot to replace him.

Here's the "fuzzy math" part: the Gov. gets "recalled" with an approval rating (poll) of 20 %

and,

some one of his "Challengers" gets elected from a field of 150 + (most likely with a tally LESS than 20% of the vote)...

So when does it end? Will they say, "Let Gray Stay?"
I think so.

Mexifornia is already screwed

With the disappearance of law abiding, tax paying, European Americans - rioting Blacks - illegal Mexicans, ect.

The presence of non-Whites had destroyed yet another state......

When will people realize diversity is destroying America? Shall we learn the truth after it's too late?

When will you take a stand for your country?

when?

Driven by the high cost of housing and the aggravation of traffic jams,

Californians fled the Golden State for places like Nevada and Arizona in the late 1990s, according to a report released today by the U.S. Census Bureau.

It was the first time more people left for other states than moved to California from other states, and the trend is continuing, experts say.

Last year, Miiko Mentz, a 39-year-old Cupertino native who works in public relations, steered her U-Haul truck south, following hundreds of thousands of others who left California in the latter half of the 1990s.

"We went from paying $3,000 a month in rent to a mortgage of $1,490," said Mentz, who moved with her husband from San Jose to Chandler, Ariz., a Phoenix suburb, last year. "Our house here is 2,700 square feet, and we have a pool. It was the right choice."

..remember him..remember he was white! Yes sir he was some model citizen. Historically we all know its diversity that built America..it does'nt seem that way since "white" folks are the chief benefactor of this wealth.

Oh and by the way ....can you define white in a biological/racial context? because if you can I can find blacks who satisfy those criterias. In essence you can't....because its simply a contrieved theory made up for convnience.

Your "white" absence is irrelivant, because I've lived in fully black nghborhoods that are far better than several majority white nghborhoods I've lived in. But you won't know that because you will forever formulate your opinion based on watching TV

Learn this lesson jackass...education and affluence dictates your nghbor..those are traits found in every group. I've lived besides white folks who had money but lacked affluence (bng blue collor workers) whom I thought were disgusting and disgraceful to our nghborhood.

The California Recall is not taken as seriously as it should be. People, it's DEADLY serious and here's why -- they were already preparing "the back story" for it before Arnold even announced. Just a few days before his announcement there was an article in the WP, I believe, to the effect that Bush/CHeney think they can take CA and NYC, that they're ripe for the picking.

Here's why they want Arnold: he knows NOTHING but he's got name recognition and adulation as a star out the yang-yang. They won't even let him talk anymore, now that it's clear he can't discuss the issues .

All they have to do is this:

1. Get Arnold in

2. Send Bush to CA a bunch of times for some glitzy photo-op stuff for Arnold like Bush does that makes people believe he's doing something

3. Let Bush do some wonderful things that make Californians happy and makes it look really good for Arnold too

4. Get polls showing increasing Bush support (yes, polls are skewed these days, esp. if you get the right pollster who will call the right people and ask the right questions). That alone will make some fools who aren't paying enough attention think about actually voting for "a winner and popular guy like Bush" in 2004.

5. Steal the election. If the voting machines are all or even mostly computerized, let me tell you this: it's a done deal. No contest.

In reference to that last point, stealing the election, it has come to light recently that new computerized voting machines are not secure and votes can be changed without a trace. It so happens, that in several states which were polled as heavily democratic, Georgia is one, republicans have won by a landslide using electronic voting machines. This happened when polls within 24 hours of the election showed a different result.

California is setting up a ballot nightmare that will make what happened in Florida look like a such a walk in the park. Check out the balloting process:

Each county has a different ballot. The names aren't listed alphabetically, but rather in the order the letters were randomly pulled in the lottery they had a week or so ago. In one county Z may be the first letter listed on the ballot, followed by R, B, F, A, etc. In another county, the order is R, W, C, K, etc. IT'S A NIGHTMARE. I can't think of any way to make it more confusing, more anti-voter and anti-democracy.

That means if I go into the poll knowing who I want to vote for, I'll have to read through all or most of 6 ballots to even find my candidate. With 150 names on the ballot, even a speed reader will take forever to vote for thr candidate and it will take hours and hours for a handful of people to vote. THIS ALONE NEEDS TO BE CHALLENGED IN COURT.

After this nightmare, people will be BEGGING for computerized voting, and election officials will be scrambling to get them unwittingly aiding in the theft of democracy.

Wake up people. We're not in Kansas anymore.

This is the way it really is with out the spin!!!!
Under the system, names will be rotated on 80 different ballots in each of the state's Assembly districts. Candidates who start near the top in ballots used in northern California will shift to the bottom in southern California.

IT WOULD BE CONFUSING IF YOU ARE GOING DISTRICT TO DISTRICT VOTING ILLEGALY.

Grey Davis has the lowest rating of any politician ever, including Nixon.

Arnold is just too liberal. I'm starting to doubt if he even is a fiscal conservative. He wants Buffet's advice and Buffet LOVES taxes.

I hope Bill Simon gets it. He came in close when he ran against Davis last time and if Arnold weren't in the way, he probably would win this time around.

The coming weeks will tell, I have my suspicions about him too. His stand on illegal immigration will tell a lot about his liberal tendencies I think, can?t wait to hear if he will revive Prop 187, if he does it will get him elected I think , it passed by over 64% of the voters in Calif. Which is an unheard of voter turnout these days.

Azellyn,

" It so happens, that in several states that were polled as heavily democratic, Georgia is one, Republicans have won by a landslide using electronic voting machines."

And you think that its because Republicans have "tampered" with the votes????

Aren't election boards made up of both Republicans and Democrats? Don't they both oversee the voting? How could this happen then? Are the Democrats completely incompetent?

Could it not be that Georgians finally realized that Democrats are bad for the country since they were taken over by the Communists? Zell Miller got in, but that is because he is known as a conservative Democrat.

Could it be that Georgians, and West Virginians, and Michigan voters decided that Democrats are attempting to create a tyranny by disarming the citizenry, brushing aside the civil liberties of these same voters by declaring that the Second Amendment to the Constitution doesn't really apply to "people".

If you think its because of electronic voting machines, then you seriously have your head in the sand.

What happened is that electronic voting machines have solved the problem of false voting and double voting that is so easy WITHOUT electronic voting.

New York needs to try it, instead of those little "beancounters" that we use, which can easily be manipulated. I bet you'll find that New York is not as "Democratic" as everyone thinks.

Any vote for Bill Simon is a wasted one. Ths man publicly stated that he would not revive Prop 187. Thats all that matters ladies and gentlemen. The root cause of the historical budget deficit currently facing California is due to one issue...illegal immigration. You can propose to cut spending, bring in more jobs, consolidate services, whatever... but the fact remains that if you do not deal with illegal immigration, you are simply working around the problem.

Bill Simon is a moron. Why did he think he lost the last election? Its because he danced around the illegal immigration issue. The Republican party should recall this bozo from running. And how does an individual such as this, as well as many other elected Republicans, remain part of our party due to thr liberal methods? You want to be in favor of illegal immigration, fine...do so on the Democratic line. Republican ideals are based on citizenship, law, and sovergnty.

Its time for the Republicans to place thr full-fledged support behind Arnold. He publicly stated he is in favor of reviving Prop 187. He does that, and the budget will be well on its way to becoming balanced...and California, may be saved.

And how is Arnold too liberal? Someone please explain to me whats more liberal than providing illegals government services and coming up next, drivers licenses. It doesnt get more liberal than that!

Quote:...What happened is that electronic voting machines have solved the problem of false voting and double voting that is so easy WITHOUT electronic voting.

To the contrary:

A study done at Rice University concluded that the security for e-voting machines was far below even the most minimal standards for such an important system.

A study by Johns Hopkins university concluded that the software that runs many high-tech voting machines contains serious flaws that would allow voters to cast extra votes and permit poll workers to alter ballots without bng detected, computer security researchers said yesterday.

Furthermore:

- Not only aren't votes secure in independent and standalone e-machines, they can also be changed by remote access.
- Votes can be changed without anyone knowing--even the election officials by hackers.
- Passwords can be bypassed.
- Audit logs can be overwritten; and
- At l 112 elections have been miscounted by machines so far.

There is a serious problem with electronic voting. We've already lost the media as the cornerstone of our democratic society. If we lose the sanctity of the vote, then what's left?

This is a serious issue which must be given non-partisan attention. After all, the Republicans may be in charge of the vote now, but when the tides turn, the question of voting integrity will also be put to Democrats.

The first thing everybody should do is find out whether electronic voting machines are coming to thr districts and what certification process has been used to certify them. There are federal standards which are required to certify these machines. It has been found the certification process has been bypassed in many states, especially in Georgia. Under the Freedom of Information Act, the certification information should be available.

There is more to come on this issue...

Sounds like you're a proponent of simpler ballots. Unfortunately, that's been tried. The real problem is with the dim-wits who can't figure out a ballot no matter how easy it is or what language it's in. Remember Flori-duh? These are the same class of idiots that caused us to have traffic signs with pictures. Some people are just too stupid to vote, intelligently or otherwise. We can't take away thr right to vote, so what to do? I know! Let's spend billions of dollars making sure that morons in this country can understand how to work a ballot machine that most of us have exactly NO problem with. But hey, it's those brain dead voters that the Democrats are so heavily relying on in 2004, so cost is no object.

Author's note: The terms "moron", "dim-wits", "brain dead", and "idiots" have been deemed politically incorrect in recent years. I should have referred to these people as intellectually challenged. So sorry.

The intent of the recall was not to get someone out of office because you have money and the person somehow becomes un-popular. It was mainly inteneded to give states a recourse when you have un-scroupulous elected officials in office. I think it is more outragoues when you send an official to office and they change parties during thr tenure....because it is outright deception....but thats only me!

In GA when the Republican Governer was elected his first mission was to recruit several democrats to switch party..that to me is should be a crimminal act! But coming from Republicans it wouldn't be the first time we've seen this happen.

I also acutely aware of how gullible Americans are. What I mean is we have a culture here where people quickly sell-out thr convictions to be associated with winners and winning! Thats one of Arnold's biggest strategy right now..to keep telling Californians that he already won by repeating those favorable POLLS!

And it works....people actualy don't seem to make the distinction between bng a band-wagoner of the latest super-bowl or world series champion and bng a band-wagoner of a politician!
