Are gays hurting democrats chances in '04?

I think this high school idea is crazy, but how can you be against gay marriage and the right to adopt? Even if you don't believe in gay marriage, at the very l you should believe in civil unions that give homosexual couples the right to visit thr partner in the hospital, inherit thr property, as well as other freedoms that heterosexual couples are granted.

I believe that gays should never be discriminated against in the workplace. I believe its thr right to be gay and not be molested by anyone. But thats where I draw the line. As far as I'm concerned homosexuality is a DEFORMITY! Bng gay actually means your wires are crossed...and I can understand that. And just because someone is deformed does not mean they should not be allowed to exits.

But when they try to push gay lifestyle into mainstream America and try to say bng straight and bng gay is a choice..just like flipping a coin..thats going too far.

When they try to say bng gay is the same as bng African American that really makes me livid. Bng African Americans is normal...bng gay is ABnormal..big difference!

I heard one pundit saying that its hypocritical for conservatives to speak out against gay because its the market thats driving all the exposure they have been getting. And ofcourse conservatives believes in the free market.
Well you know what....many of us would love to turn to NBC during primetime and watch "Debbie does dallas"..That would sell wouldn't it? Nothing sells better than porn in America. So why not bring that on as well. Why edit curse words from movies...that would make the viewing experience even better ..it sure sells at the thearte. Point is even in a free market..there has to be rules.


And with Gays and thr seperate agenda within the Democratic party I believe any conservative repulsed by bush and sitting on the fence right now..seng this will not help.

Remember the very first issue Clinton addressed when he was in office..don't-ask-don't-tell.

I don't like bush..but I must admit in many instances the democrats are too far left for my liking!

...the way gays are trying to make it seem that bng gay is just a choice like ..getting a dog or something. I may agree with some of the things that you mentioned below..but not gay marriage. By definition that is the union between a man and a woman....can't spin that. And I'm also very reluctant about the adoption issue also. See..the fact that they cannot reproduce by themselves is the reason why bng gay isn't normal!

I don't care if they teach kids in school..but I do care if they are teaching kids about homosexulity..and they have tried this in numerous cases.

i don't want to turn on my tv and see shows with gay marriages in any regularity..this is where this is all leading to. They want to homosexualize america.

As a straight person it repulse me seng too man kissing...thats why I believe your wires must be crossed to be gay. Yes I'm biased..because its a little different with 2 women. And an impressionable teenager should know that they do this because of thr deformity...not because it is normal. And thats what gays are pushing for.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. If you mean gay people shouldnt be allowed on TV, I think its a bit different that than porn bng shown at prime time. Hetrosexual people are on TV all day everyday. Why cant gay people have a piece of the media. They are a section of the population afterall.

Why cant gay couples have the same legal rights as a htrosexual couple. They dont have to have a relegious ceremony, they could have a civil ceremony which gives them the same legal rights as hotro couples. As for adoption, I dont see why gay couples cant adopt if they are classed to be suitable parents instead of leaving children sitting in arphanages until they're 18. There is no information to suggest that the child will grow up abnormal or gay, so why not. Its good for the couple, good for the child and good for society as a whole having a stable family environment.

Your attraction to the same gender could of been formed at an earlier age(as early as 3 to 4 years of age possibly). First we must understand that having an attraction to the same gender DOES NOT MEAN YOU ARE GAY. This attraction could of been caused by early expermenting with a friend(the first kiss,or playing house),or it could of been innoscently done by expermenting with a sybling,or even if a child was molested,or toyed with by someone of the same gender causing an attraction to the same gender. Years later,like most kids,they may have forgot,or blocked this out,why they formed an attraction to the same gender ,but have a lasting effect on thr subconcious(possible post traumatic stress).Some childern have a disorder called gender identity disorder(defination can be found at the American Dissabilaties Act page). This is not the same thing as forming an attraction to the same gender, NOR DOES IT MEAN YOU ARE GAY. Never call a child Gay,because that child may think he/she is;if the child is undiagnoised,or untreated or uninformed. Show your parents this website so they can see other vws also,and then both you and your parents can make possibly more sound deccisions together as a family.Many children are tortured with the fear of bng considered gay,some withdrawl from society at an early age because of the name calling,damnation bng preached instead of the causes bng discussed openly. A few thoughts:

Marriage - should be a religious term not a civil legal term. Religions can do as they please.

Adoption - Do you agree with the American League of Famlies who believe that it is better to leave a child with a dysfunctional foster family then a stable gay family? that's what thier spokesman said on inside trnton over the weekend.

Gay Priests - No problem. Why do you have one? Or don't you know the difference between a homosexual and a pedophile?

TV - Don't like it? Turn it off. You right wingers are always blabbing on about the "market". If no one watches it ain't gonna stay on.
