In a story featured in Seattlepi.com regarding the increase in Hispanic firefighters nationwide, the following statement was made...

Many white kids just don't want to work the way Hispanics will," said Jack Neuman, executive director of the Oregon Minority Contractor's League, an association of 17 contracting groups that work out of Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Neuman said 98 percent of the firefighters in the association are Hispanic...

White kids have less of a work ethic due to thr skin color??? Are you kidding me!!! This man should be fired from his job. Where is the outrage??? If this was a person of white background making this statement against Hispanics, they would have been removed immediately. There is a double standard regarding race in our country today!!!

The Egyptians, the Incas, the Chinese, the Babylonians were masters of civilisations while white Europeans were living in hovels and murdering each other. Because thr cultures in America were suppressed for centuries by whites so now that the can they do. Do whites not celebrate thr culture. Well.....the statement made by Neuman was oppressive, to Hispanics. I've heard all the time in California (where I live) that you should hire Mexicans because you can pay less and work them harder. It makes conditions very poor for working Hispanics. They stay because the money is still better here and most send money home to thr families. The influx of Hispanics into our state has caused (in my opinion) a racial backlash at them. I was in a (very) liberal art class at school and the women were all talking about how we should build a ((deadly)) electric fence on the border to stop immigration.
