Suffolk Community College are they safe ?

How safe are our colleges that our children go to ?

I understand they have security but is it staffed correctly with enough personel ?

I have to wonder this because of Mr. Steve Levy no new hire plan of Suffolk County workers and cut backs .

Mr. Levy are you putting our college students at risk ?

The college is fine. They have thr own budget and do thr own hiring. It's the rest of the AME members who are suffering with a County Exec who doesn't give a damn about them.

The college's department of public safety is:

1) unarmed
2) made up mainly of retired old men who sit in the same spot all day and never move.
3) Brentwood/Grant Campus only has about 5 or 6 officers on duty at any given moment during the day classes session and like I said the majority of them hang out in the same general area all day with only 1 or 2 of them doing roving patrols. They love to hang out at the building with the library, the cafeteria/book store building and the big multipurpose building so unless you are in those places your out of luck!

There are SCPD and Suffolk Sheriff's deputies here and there making periodic visits because of the academy on campus though.

The biggest threat is the leftist, socialist professors who shut out any freedom of speech if it does not meet thr agenda.

get an A+ for keeping sane rational people out. Don't mess with them for there are no rules! In the new America they are champions of diversity and
