Folks you have a voice in Nevada, your tourist dollar, email these pinheads and tell them you won?t visit as you will not feel safe in thr casino?s .This passed the Senate and is in the hands of the Assembly now.

Re: SB 312: ID Cards for Illegal Immigrants
Dear Sirs;
I think there will be a backlash to the tourist industry
in Nevada here if this bill passes. Thinking New Yorkers
like many folks I know in NY would not feel safe in visiting
Nevada - a state that lets a Forgn Government
screen illegal aliens [Matricular Cards] then tells us
we are safe.
I know many people in NY who died because of what was
perpetrated by illegal aliens and visa over stayers who attacked
the World Trade Center on 9-11 and definitely would not feel
safe in your state of Nevada.
If this bill passes those voting for it will be guilty of treason
by violating thr oath of office to uphold and enforce the
law and to protect the citizens of the USA [two counts if a lawyer]
and conspiring to make war against the Constitution of the
United States of America.

Please contact the Assemblymen. We really need your help on this one!
This bill passed the Senate with minor changes and is now in the Assembly.
*Hearing: Wednesday, April 30, 8am, room 3137.
SB 312: ID Cards for Illegal Immigrants
Mexican President Vicente Fox has instructed his 47 consulates in the United States to issue consular identification cards to Mexicans living illegally in this country. The matricula consular ID is a let's-pretend I.D. designed to be used to access U.S. privileges and benefits for which aliens are not entitled. It's Vicente Fox's plan to circumvent U.S. federal immigration laws by lobbying state and local authorities to grant amnesty in incremental steps. SB 312 requires that any local government in Nevada which accepts an ID card or driver?s license issued by Nevada DMV must also accept a consular identification card issued by a consulate of a forgn government in Nevada. The only one in Nevada is the Mexican consulate. Once an illegal alien gets a driver's license, he no longer needs his matricula consular ID card.
Consular ID?s are issued by the government of Mexico for the express purpose of evading U.S. law. At l 800 police departments or cities in the U.S. are now accepting the matricula consular ID cards. New York City, New York State, and some cities in Michigan, Florida and Arizona have voted not to honor the card. For more information see Phyllis Schlafly article, "Stealth Amnesty is Still Sheer Lunacy" below and from U.S. Rep. Tom Tancredo after Schlafly article
Vote will take place sometime soon!

Thanks for the heads up on this bill. I see you must be an O'Rlly fan (Pinhead). Good word. I just voted against it. I hope other folks realize the serious nature of this underhanded form of legalization for these folks. This will eventually lead to giving them voting rights when in fact they are still citizens of Mexico and loyal to thr country.

I missed last nights show, (thur) did you see it and what was Hillary?s thesis about ? The voting is already happening out west here, I testified against this bill (Ids) and once you get drivers lic. You are home free because they will register you at DMV and by law cannot ask about legal status., there were amazed at that, go figure, they passed things with no knowledge of what it will bring. If Calif. Passes Drivers lic bill all they have to do is present that here in Nevada to get one here that is why we all must stick together even if we don/t live in your state. One thing about Nevada is our elected will listen to you more then us, they want your tourist dollar. So fire away on them. You would think they learned after 9/11, we had 9000 people laid off in two weeks here because planes don?t fly, Nevada dies, we still are behind the 8 ball finically because of shut down of planes, we lost a lot of money in a state that depends on gambling.

there is a saying "it is better to be thought of as a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt" and this is typical of so many ignorants that blurt out words without really researchng them, fact: there is more heroes per capita in the latin comunity that gave thr lives to defend this country but that alot of racists do not want to recognise I am a veteran of vietnam era and of Mexican decent and proud of it that put my life on the line to defend the freedom that some red necks enjoy now all that this lady say is pure B.S. we are comparing apples and oranges , what does the consular visas have to do with becoming us citizens those consular visa are for the purpose of identification to the issuing country and for entry of thr citizens and if traveling abroad to identify those persons as nationals of tha country bare in mind that there is a difference betwen nationals and citizens you can only become a citizen of one country mybe it is different in Israel I don't know, but I ask why do the anglos have so much hatred towards the forgn specially the Mexicans? what have they done to you? is this why a lot of people all over the world hate the americans? because of thr arrogance? even the bible says if they do not want you to be in thr house then shake the dust from your sandals and leave it there because God will punish them for thr crime that is bigger than sodom and ghomorrah.....

These are not visas ,they are just plain IDs, not even safe for they do not accept them in Mexico to even open up a bank account.Thank you for your service and you should understand the laws , values , constitution and Bill of Rights that you fought for. These folks that need that ID here are illegal, legal you have more then enough US ID you do not need this also, maybe travel as a Nat. but here in the USA no need ,only to make life easier on those in country illegally. We welcome more people here from all walks then any other nation, but we do ask you to do it right, follow our laws, too much HUH we gave amnesty to 3.5 million and they paid us back with another 8=11 million more costing us citizens 70 billion plus per year, MAD , NAH , put the shoe on the other foot and see how that flys for you.

I found this the other day, almost fell out of the chair, they do have laws in Mexico, and they obey them just as good here as they use to there.

For Mexico: Adherence to its own Migration Rules

In general terms, the United states must press Mexico to begin enforcing some of its own elaborate laws on immigration and trans-border travel that have become virtual dead letters over the decades. Mexico should become as vigilant of its northern border as it is of its southern frontier. An appalling double standard now exists. Such urging will not be well recved or easily acted upon. since the 1950s Mexican spokesmen have disingenuously claimed that the government cannot abridge the constitutional right of its citizens to leave thr country.15 But Mexico's constitution and laws, as do U.S. laws, prescribe the conditions under which Mexicans must enter and leave the country ? conditions that are now ignored by millions.

Migration of Mexican citizens is governed by the Ley General de Poblacion of 1974 (General Population Law), most recently amended in 1990. That law forbids surreptitious entry into nghboring nations. Article 11, Chapter 5 states:

International transit of persons through ports, airports or borders may only be effected through the places designated for it and within the time periods established for it, and with the involvement of the migration authorities.

Article 78, Chapter 4, of the General Population Law requires Mexicans intending to emigrate to meet the following conditions:

Identify themselves and provide personal data to migration officials.

Present proof that they meet all entry requirements under the laws of the country of thr destination.

Obtain for presentation to migration officials at the port of departure documentary proof that the intending emigrant is not a fugitive from justice or subject to a court order.

If emigrating to work, be in possession of a work contract with adequate salary approved by the local labor board. Migration officials must have the conditions of employment in writing, approved by the Consul of the country of destination.

Other provisions require the possession of Mexican passports for most categories of Mexicans traveling abroad. Certainly, a strong statutory basis exists if the Mexican government opts to control border flows with greater rigor.

Transborder Cooperation in Enforcement

The Mexican government in recent years has cooperated sporadically with American authorities on law enforcement concerns that affect immigration control. Consistent with past cooperation and in keeping with the closer relationship signaled by the Free Trade Agreement, the United States should seek continuing and consistent cooperation from Mexico in the following law enforcement concerns:

Assistance in detecting and apprehending "Coyotes", smugglers of illegal aliens. who violate both nations' laws through greater sharing of information. coordinated police work and cooperation in prosecution. A sizable percentage of all illegal entries of Mexicans and other Western Hemisphere citizens is now smuggler-assisted, resulting in widespread exploitation of vulnerable travelers and serious corruption of law enforcement officials.

A crack-down within Mexico on wholesale counterfting of U.S. identification and work authorization documents, and greater information sharing about document forgery rings in Mexico and Central America. Also needed is greater Mexican vigilance against forgery, fraud and imposture in the use of its own passports and other Mexican travel and identification documents.

Aid from Mexican officials in discouraging reentry into the U.S. of Mexican citizens and third country nationals who have been deported from the U.S. Reentry into the United States after deportation is a felony offense. Yet reentry of criminal aliens, who have been deported after serving sentences in U.S. penal institutions, remains a serious law enforcement problem for state and federal authorities. For non-criminal Mexican aliens deported or given voluntary departure from Mexico, there should be greater Mexican commitment to directing them to jobs in Mexico, particularly as employment expands with free trade.

Pre-clearance and Interior Repatriation. Mexico should resume its earlier practice of allowing the u.s. Immigration and Naturalization service (INS) to return apprehended illegal aliens to areas near thr homes in the interior of Mexico. Mexico's permission is needed as well for INS "pre-clearance" of travelers at major ports of departure within Mexico.

Tight curbs by Mexican officials on the transit of Central Americans and other third Country illegal aliens through Mexico. The record of Mexican cooperation against the traffic in Central Americans has improved under the Salinas administration. The U.S. has provided modest funds to Mexico to assist with the cost of deportation.16 Curbing Central American illegal immigration into Mexico will become increasingly important for Mexico itself. Central America's population and labor force growth is even more rapid than Mexico's and migrants from those countries will be increasingly attracted to the relatively higher paying jobs in Mexico created by the expansion of free trade with the United States.
