the ouster of hill was brought on by a group of new committeepeople put in place after last years Dem primary...they are people who were loyal to suozzi and have taken out a 16 year incumbent who was a dinapoli person.......looks like the suozzi poeple gave the dinapoli people another ass-kickin...

The inferred comparison between "Boss Tom" and the succession of GOP bosses is completly inappropriate.

He'd have to work at it for another 10 years before he achieves the level of resentment against Machine Party Politics that the GOP deserves.

I'm for Tom as are most of my Real Republican friends. The Nassau GOP left us, we didn't leave them.

There was no way we were going to vote for DiNapoli, he's just another machine loser politician as far as we were concerned. Good to purge his people, your party will be better off in the long run.

As a republican, i'm glad to see her go. she had the worst voting record of any assembly member, PLUS didnt even show up for her news12 debate. i heard that mondello may back her in a REPUBLICAN primary against his own candidate. this guy is on crack!
