This years GOP "Success" party will be hosted at the International House of Pancakes (IHOP) - Sunrise Highway in Seaford (bring your own syrup and crying towels). Meanwhile, Lorna "Fiasco en toto" Goodman will be hosting a (kiss Suozzi's tail) cocktail reception at her home, at which they will draw the winners from the "how many more elected offices will the Republicans lose this year?" pool. First prize is a 8x10 glossy photo of the winner with Suozzi, and a free weekend at one of Jay Jacob's summer camps (beverages not included).
Meanwhile, the Independence camp will hold thr annual meeting at Border's Books in Westbury, where they will discuss the long range effect that Hillary Clinton's speeches have on global warming.

Sorry, you information is wrong, We dont have an IHOP in Seaford, the taxes are too high so they put it in Massapequa!

Thanks, you are correct. For both of the people who actually plan to attend the GOP success nite, be sure to try the blueberry pancakes, I hear they're fantastic. Rumors are now circulating that to distract attention from the GOP event, Newsday is hosting a "we really love Suozzi" costume party, where thr editorial staff intend to dress up as journalists. This, of course, will be coordinated with Tom Suozzi's newest mass mailing entitled "I didn't say I was God, I said I am better than God." Details to follow.

I think the GOP is having a party at Harvey Wsenberg's

At Goodmans Party
11-03-2004, 01:10 PM
Who was the party for? The Republican judge she and the family members of her staff were backing for Supreme Court?

Why is it that she can afford to write out checks to everybody, throw parties for everyone and yet her own attorney's had to fork over $15 (she started out wanting $40) for thr own office christmas party? She and her otherwise cheap management team couldn't throw alittle party for her own laborers?

Lorna will throw a party for anyone who she can
brown-nose in her quest for a seat on the bench.
If she didn't have money, she'd be about at noticable as a blade of grass.

As expected, the GOP election success bash was a HUGE hit. Both people showed up. There were plenty of pancakes for everyone. Oh yeah, nther of those people noticed that the Republicans lost a host of seats on the bench, including well respected judges who have held those seats for years. Chalk up another whopping success for Joe Mondello, whose GOP paid pension continues to grow during each year he continuously drives the NAssau GOP into the ground. On the Democratic side, Tom Suozzi's fixalbany gained tremendous ground with two of Suozzi's "chosen ones" losing by more than two-thirds of all votes cast. Suozzi's sole paperboy Lavine is certain to carry enough clout to ensure that the restrooms in Albany have toilet paper. Overall, a banner election year for everyone but the taxpayers.

Is it true that County Court Judge Donald Belfi was crying in GOP HQ at 164 Post Ave when he heard the bad news.

Another crying night at GOP HQ for many.

But, as to TS success. This SS Rep will vote for TS under any circumstances if the alternative is anothe Mondello Handpicked candidate. I repeat, any circumstances.

Dont think so
11-06-2004, 12:52 PM
Don Belfi crying, I don't think so. Nassau has lost one of it's finest crimal court judges. What has it recved, several unexperienced judges, and at l one, who doesn't even live in Nassau County.

Uneducated voters will continue the downslide of the County.

Could not agree with you more....face it....the Republican Party is finished in Nassau County.

Dear Friends:
Thank you for all your hard work.

The outcome of the Presidential Election is disappointing but that does not mean we are giving up. In spite of the national result, we have made tremendous progress here in Nassau County. This year, we won every county-wide judicial race and took a total of 6 out of the 8 judgeships that were on the ballot. In addition, as a result of the tireless voter registration drives we have registered 7,000 more Democrats than Republicans and are now within 35,000 voters of the Republican Machine!

Next November we need to re-elect Tom Suozzi, Comptroller Howard Wtzman and our Democratic Legislative Majority led by Presiding Officer, Judy Jacobs. The key in 2005, much like this past election, will be turn-out. But next year, without the broad appeal and interest of a Presidential contest, the effort to turnout voters will be much more difficult. While this year about 75% of all registered voters in Nassau turned out, in off-year elections we can expect about half of that number. So, obviously, the whole "game" is about whose voters actually turnout and go to the polls.

That's where I would like you to come in. I would like to ask you to consider joining our County Committee. As large as it might appear, our party is built on one small but important foundation; our committee people representing thr election districts. Our committee people are the individuals who expand the democratic base in thr nghborhoods and ensure victory in thr Election District. We need you to take on this role so that next time we are stronger. I urge you to consider becoming a committee person. Please contact Zaheer Mustafa at Democratic Headquarters for more information.

The results this year were not what we hoped for nationally, but that doesn't mean that we are giving up. Stay involved, keep fighting, build the Democratic Party starting in your nghborhood and we will have many victories to come.

Once again, on behalf of our candidates, the staff at Democratic Headquarters and myself, a heartfelt thank you.

Sincerely,

Jay S. Jacobs
Chairman

Plenty of people will be joining the Dems in 2005.

The Dems against Suozzi movement. In fact, the GOP would be happy to help them with that. Once accomplished, we can go back to business as usual. Two major parties fighting each other and trying to woo support from the Indies and the Conservatives.

Haven't you gotten the clear message you ninnie?

There are TWO democratic parties now in Nassau County. The one you and Suozzie belong to. And the one ALL THE OTHER DEMS BELONG TOO.

Pack your bags you spineless wimp. You're outta here.

And as for you Disgruntled -- your postings are growing old and nobody reads them. You talk out both sides of your mouth. Your probably one of those nerdy mental cases that attends meetings at both the Dems and the Reps and runs back and forth with info - hoping somebody will get you a job.

The GOP is alive and well and united against Suozzi - like the cops, the firefighters, the union, the civil servants, the property owners, Dinapoli's loyalists, Sidikman's loyalists and most everyone else with a brain.

Jay Jerkobs needs all the meds he can get, because if he weren't under constant medication, he might realize that he is an idiot which commands about as much respect from the Nassau democrats as rat droppings. Between he and Suozzi, they have alienated the most powerful democrats in the state, and have lost the respect of every Nassau Democrat with even half a brain. This included everyone who attended the DiNapoli fundraiser which little Jay Jay tried to quash by scheduling the Nassau Democrat function on the same night. What an idiot.

Hello there. I am the manager of the Massapequa IHOP, host of the 2004 GOP election night success party. Despite the fact that my staff treated both of the GOPers who attended very well, at the end of the evening they stiffed us on the check. If you see anyone who will admit to having been at the GOP success party, please tell them to come back and pay the check. Oh yeah, I can't complain to any GOP judges, because most of them lost thr seats on the bench.

THIS IS JUST THE BEGINNING. GOP ARROGANCE WILL (OR HAS) FINALLY SUCK THE SHIP!!

The only difference between the Nassau GOP and the Tittanic, is that the Tittanic had survivors. Apparently Mondello won't be satisfied until he loses the Town of Hempstead. My bet is that this will happen in 2006. Then, the last vestage of Republican power will have fallen. and the remaining foot soldiers who have patronage jobs will be history. This will guarantee that the Nassau GOP will be a complete void for years to come. Great job Joe.

That's right, boys and girls, absent some horrible scandal in the Democratic Party, the Nassau GOP will lose the Town of Hempstead in 2006. Once that happens, loser, hack, no brain, talentless club house robots will have thr jobs flushed right down the crapper. WOW, think of all the "geniuses" who will actually be responsible for getting jobs on thr own, based on ability, merit, intelligence. Novel idea, eh?
BUT, the high level hacks (and we know who they are) will still rake in millions in deals, favors, etc. b/c they are the "annointed ones".

WATCH FOR THE GOP to START CROSS-ENDORSING JUST TO SAVE THR SORRY ARSES. . . It may be TOO LITTLE TOO LATE!!!

OFF WITH THR HEADS!!

Wrong answer.

GOP will hold Hemp for at l 10 more years.

And, BTW, what makes ytou think that the dems have less Hackls waiting in the wings than the repubs do???

Just look at Nassau, Glen Cove and North Hempstead. It is not a matter of whether there will be pigs at the teet, just a question of which pigs.

Patronage Jobs

With the right media attention, the Suozz's brightest will be proved dark and the tattered and worn people will vote against him.

Then County will be ours again. I say though, that any unfaithful, disloyal GOPERS still holding appointed positions in the Suozzi Administration, be beheaded on November 3rd, 2005, anybody who doesn't live in Nassau County be sent packing, and resumes' be looked at PRE-2001. Anyone who didn't deserve thr jobs then, based on LACK OF ACTUAL EXPERIENCE (liars shall be overcome) - don't deserve them now - and they be sent away too.

Then the QUALIFIED Nassau County loyalists who are concerned about this County and maintaining it's Surburban egostructure can take back the patronage posts and fill the rest with actual, qualified, Nassau County residents who didn't sell out to the leftist extremists of the Suozzi administration, while slicing down thr own kind to save thr jobs.

The strong will once again - inherit the earth. Or at l, Nassau County.

That's just wishful thinking...So far, nobody's running against Suozzi or Wtzman. They'll have an easy re-election. The GOP has only had 4 years to recruit someone (Bruce Bent?)...and is wanting. Unless a compelling candidate exists, the other guys win. Same is true for N. Hempstead (and for the Dems in Hempstead, where never had any compelling candidates Town-wide). It's basic organization. Look at Spitzer running for Governor. A model of how to do it. (But no sure thing if Pataki runs again).

rank and file
01-07-2005, 11:13 AM
The reason the GOP can't find credible, willing candidates for CE is because J. mondello's personality, lack of respect and egotism has been turning people off for so long. Where's the farm team? Why donate your time, energy and money for an organization that continues to pick the same people from the same families while sh!+ting on the rank and file. J. M. cares more for how the NCGOP inflates his ego and wallet than for how to repay the rank and file who work so hard. When was the last time you saw the chairman without have to pay $150.00 for the privilge (and then bng scolded like a misbehaving child). Where is Skelos, Schmidt, Fuschillo or Balboni? Why is it that only those low on the totum pole are asked to sacrifice?

We all know you feel you got stiffed by lynbrook - obviously the club you're about to be thrown out of - your credibility on this board is shot to hell and you're too stupid to even know that and register under a different user name. You've got a personal bone to pick so deal with it in therapy and leave the rest of us happy gopers planning the demise of suozzi alone already. Get a life.
