WHO CAN BEAT LEVY?

The only sure bet against Levy is John Flannagan. But I think he would be dumb to do it. Bruno aint goin to live forever. He is already well into his 70's - and a gov race- John would be a good Lt Gov pic....given how important the LI vote will be.

The party needs a articulate, honest candidate...one that thinks quick on his feet. Yes, Flanagan would be okay, but in a debate Levy would eat him up alive. He's not quick on the rebut.

Think the best shot is Sawicki. He's smart and gutsey. He got the brains and braun to beat Levy.

This LEVY guy has got to go. The problem is that if he farts he wwants a press conference. He has done nothing, but come up with idaes that are so far out there that they appeal to certain groups, but will never be passed.
I for one live in Yaphank and his so called "workforce housing" which really amounts to low income housing is a joke. How about dumping some low income housing into your nghborhood Mr. Levy! I work hard and my husband works an extra p/t time job to afford what we have. It's called prioritizing. Maybe putting off getting a new car or not going out to eat three times a week and bringing lunch to work instead of eating out. You do what you have to do, but the problem is too many people are looking for a handout instead of working hard and scarificing. Don't bring in low income housing and decrease my property value which I've worked hard for!
This guy is a little man that is only interested in cutting county taxes, but at the expense of good services and the safety of residents. I'd rather pay the extra $ and have what I had 10 years ago. Our parks and other facilities are falling apart, the police dept has dwindled down to nothing and all so that this guy can save a few pennies and have a press conference about it. You can KEEP it Mr. Levy! Give me my county services back and forget your "work force housing"!
Oh and by the way....it is Brookhaven Town and the Federal Govt. that is addressing the illegal population in Farmingville, but Levy who is claiming the air time on News 12, but some people only believe what they are fed by News 12 and Newsday. Wake up...Levy is out for his own peronal gain...THAT"S IT! Anyone who thinks he actually cares about the taxpayers is sadly mistaken.

I dont know if Sawicki would be the best Candidate. My feeling is that we need someone refreshing to run against this Levy guy. someone who can bring the Mainstream GOP voters back in the fold that jumped ship for Levy.

Taking head on those pro-immigrant groups that are way to the extreme left in supporting illegal aliens was a masterful technique by Steve Levy which will make him win in a landslide unless he backtracks on his statements and actions and I don't think he will.

I concur. What can a Republican offer to Suffolk that Levy isn't already doing? Want to get rid of illegal aliens and illegal housing??? Levy's your guy. He makes Bush look like a wimp on the issue and has earned the praise of people on both sides of the Isle. The guy has also been a pretty solid fiscal watchdog, while the Republicans have got themselves into one scandle after another. I think Levy is essentially unbeatable. The only possible way to beat him is in a three way race. If you put in a left leaning Democrat to run on a third line or in a tough primary and threw in a solid middle of the road Republican outsider, you might have a chance (but it ain't gonna happen).
