If we got rid of him, could we restore the cuts in aid to school districts that have happened yearly ( despite the Gov's claims to have increased aid, he has actually cut the portion paid by the state)? oh where oh where did the kindergarten and pre-k programs promised two elections ago go. ( and this was before the economy soured).. Recall petition?? I'll be the first one to sign!

New York deals in propositions, not referenda, therefore elected officials can't be recalled.

I wrote this last post - and a few others in the past two weeks - in a very specific way in order to prove a point.

Most conservatives who read that will ther feel outrage that someone has suggested these things about them or that it is more liberal propaganda nonsense. But no conservative will agree with them, and no conservative will feel that what I said was fair, accurate, or even close to the truth.


However, when conservatives write the SAME EXACT THINGS about liberals (OK, not the same EXACT things... conservatives call for violent retribution on liberals; they call for people to MURDER us, but I guess that's splitting hairs) - when conservatives write the SAME CRAP about liberals, not only do they feel that it is accurate but they feel that it is FAIR to label people like that. They see NO PROBLEM in doing this to liberals, and feel OUTRAGE when anyone suggests the same about them.


More of the same contradictory illogical conservative hypocrisy. If you didn't have a pansy moron in the White House, a megalomaniac murderer in the Pentagon, a psychotic trailer trash bum in the House, and an Uncle Tom sellout in Foggy Bottom, you couldn't even call yourselves a "movement" much less a national party.

This is the only method that can result in greater direct democracy.
