Be very careful when you hear Phyllis speak...for she knows not what she says. I was also at the union meeting the other night. Phyllis Garbarino's only "aim for AME" is to disrupt and destroy. Her agenda is her agenda alone. She is angry because the members did not re-elect her. GET OVER IT, PHYLLIS! The union belongs to 8,000 members. They deserve a leader who has proven to be better than you. Stop ripping into the integrity of your co-workers. Stop trying to destroy the union that you helped build. What's the point in that? It's very simple. No union headed by a women will ever be taken seriously. Deals are made on golf courses and lockerrooms where women, even if same sex oriented, just don't fit it.

Guess the AME board is getting a little nervous about Phyllis becoming a vocal critic. She knows the right questions to ask. It's about time these people were bng asked the questions every AME member should be asking. They are making fools of the membership, by selling them a bill of goods. Dues increase indeed! If they would stop squandering YOUR dues money on thr pleasures they would never need a dues increase. DON'T sign the card, it gives them the power to do as they please and not have to ask the membership. Stay the line Phyllis. You have more support now than ever!

It is amazing how some people can distract people from the major problem with this Union. “CHERYL IS NOT GOD”. “WE ARE THE UNION”. We should bng telling her what we want and not what she thinks is good for her. The only reason we’re bng threatened is because she’s been giving in little by little.

Let’s grow up and stop with the name calling and call it what it is. Our insurance is an agreement that is made between the County AND the nine Unions. Why did it only affect OUR contract? Is this so that Cheryl could remain Co-Chair by using OUR dues and OUR contract? Where are the other Unions? The only reason arbitrators are awarding what they are awarding is because AME, “Suffolk’s largest independent Union” settled for it in thr contract and if it’s good enough for them. For your information, the other Unions are very upset over this, ask them (don’t just take Cheryl’s word for this).

Some more facts. Look at how much the office staff, and expenses, how grown while Cheryl has been in power, and you still can’t get an officer when you call. When, or if, they call you back, they have to check with Cheryl first.

Members can’t submit grievances to step four anymore, only Cheryl. That’s why there are less grievances BOBBY.

Cheryl and other members of the Executive Board “DID” go the school while on work release (That’s a fact).

All the name calling only shows that you ther lack the intelligence to have a meaningful conversation, you can’t handle the truth, you’ve got something to hide, or you’re just one of them.
