Thr is no such thing as the Brookhaven GOP. Not only has Neppell seen to that but so has J.J. Lavalle, and his corrupt cronies. Election day it will see the end of the corrupt rgn of the GOP.

For a guy who has been in the senate for the last 20 some years, you would think he would be in th papers taking sides on an issue. NO, he only gives out Certificates and doesn't take sides. He wants everybody to love him not to respect him.
Strange how he became a lawyer here on the island when he is in Albany most of the time. Maybe it has something to do with him be the Chair of Higher Eduation in the senate?
Funny how things work when your been there a while.

Does it really mater who the next chair is? The committeepersons do not stand up for themselves and therefore, the boys in the backroom will make the decision and then tell the commiteepersons to vote for HIM.
Why should things change now? Nobody cares enough to stand up ad do what is right for Brokhaven.

Who in thr right mind would want to be the Crookhaven party leader anyway? John jay may be a small guy but his ego is very large. And to make matters worse he's destroyed any sembelence of order in the Town. The ship is going down and the only ones going with him are the girls in public info literally hanging on his sack and his top aides. He's destroyed any loyalty a sickly person could even attempt to muster.

And the other party officials are all on trial or will be or have been.

what ever happened to the by-laws of the town committee? i am sure there are some committee people who would like to have a vote ( in secret) for thr priviledge of electing the town leader. this committee is now run by a saddam want-a-be, don't agree with jjl and he will send his body guards (like the famous ones sons) to force you out and if your lucky you will lose your town job. (union buster). it is time for the honest people in the committee to take a stand, but do carry a tape recorder ( hidden, of course) to record everything that then goes on, (they jjl and cohorts wear them)

Did anyone see the letter to the editor in the Suffolk Life from Tony Aliperti? Asking for Tom Neppell to step down. The proof is in the pudding the Brookhaven G.O.P. is through. No one could turn it around. Only a fool would want to be GOP leader.

I would like to see Charlie Lefkowitz as the Next Chairman of Brookhaven. Have him Kick out all Lavalle hacks like Morris and bring in all new blood. We need to bring back RESPECT to the Brookhaven Republicans and Charlie is the Only person I do know that will be able to do that. Most of the other candidates for Chair are all Lavalle Puppets.
