End of the year spending........

It is unbelievable how much waste goes on during October and November in Nassau County...Everyone has the "use it or loose it" mentality. I understand if the $$ will not be there next year, but just to use it to justify $$ for next year !!!

Is there anyone in purchasing or the Comptrollers office who actually goes over the justifications or just glances over the standard “fluff”….And don’t get me wrong, we are not talking about $10 worth of pens…..$50,000 +++

I would like to know from people in the know just what are these mental midgets buying with our hard earned money just do they can justify they spent it? Why cant they just put it back into giving it back to the tax payer for the next year so our taxes arent sky high ????? :x
