Hey Brookhaven Town Committee persons, how much input did you have about the new Councilman? This has noting to do with him but how he was appointed. How come the committee persons didn't nominate him? How come the backroom boys did? How did the backroom boys get there jobs without the committeepersons OK? When are you peope going to wake home and stop bng told what to do and accept what is done without your OK? You people have power, learn to use it and nominate some one who realy cares about Brookhaven.

Does anyone remember Neppel in the 70's when th Democrats all got in? There was a scandal then ALSO. Here we go again thanks to Neppel.

The old guard continues to stymie new people and new ideas - look at the Mazz appointment - a joke with no popular support, when there are penalty of younger CLEAN loyal Repub potentials to take the spot. It is all about control - and fresh ideas are uncontrollable.

Our party is over and out before we even had a chance to remake ourselves. See you in 2004.
