Assemblyman Weisenberg apologizes to City Council?

Insiders are suggesting that an increasingly isolated Weisenberg is prepared to apologize to the entire Long Beach City Council for his comment about being "ignorant" regarding the stalled Beach Restoration project by the Army Corps of Engineers.

No word yet on whether Weisenberg will apologize to the many citizens of Long Beach he offended with his ill prepared remarks.

new dem. chairman kohut has said the local party demands it as he was wrong to publically ridicul his supporters on the city council.

it is the first flexing of kohuts muscles as new team leader.
