Town of North Hempstead Democratic officals endorsed candidates Mark Birnbaum and Edna Guilor-Segal of the Better Government Party. Councilman Wayne Wink and May Newberger made robo-calls to residents. Town of North Hempstead Supervisor Jon Kaiman lent his picture and endorsement to campaign literature. Nassau County Comptroller Howard Wtzman and Great Neck Democratic Club President Steven Markowitz, a professional lobbyist, endorsed the candidates in letters to the local press.
The opposing candidates were Ms.Lynn Marino, who is of Italian-American descent, and Dr. Harry Hnemann, a Jewish American. The incumbent trustees’ literature stated that a vote for the opposition candidates would “...threaten...” residents’ “...ability...” “...to live the way you want...” and “...to worship where you want...” Another piece of campaign literature called the opposition candidates “disciples” of the Mayor. This language is discriminatory and offensive. Campaigns that promote religious intolerance are shameful. Didn’t the politicians read the campaign literature before they endorsed these candidates?
The Town of North Hempstead Democratic politicians who endorsed these candidates owe the residents of Great Neck an apology.

I can tell you categorically that the answer is no. That question would be obvious if you reviewed Mr. Kaiman's filings. Trustee Beckerman's name would not appear as treasurer. Now that it is in print, I don't see that it would be anyone's business if he was.

People need to focus on facts not conjecture and inference. Most of us hide behind guest or cute names. Try putting your self out there trying to do the right thing and bng ridiculed. Try making the derogatory comments and sign your real name, then and only then would you be standing behind your statements not hiding like some slug.
