When our Constitution was first drafted, the Anti-Federalists would only approve of a Union if our Bill of Rights was included. Today our Bill of Rights is the most integral part of our Constitution. Without the Anti-Federalists, we would not have our Bill of Rights today.

So when someone does sound "Anti-American", just remember that one party is never fully correct. A party willing to hear the viewpoints of all make for a better government and a better democracy.

So keep in mind when you are quick to call someone Anti-American because it does not correlate with the Republican agenda, remember it was the Anti-Federalists that gave you your Freedom of Speech.

And you keep in mind that freedom of speech cuts both ways.

Klan meeting? Because I believe that criticizing liberals is also protected under the First Amendment? You really are an odd bird, ontarget. That nickname is ironic actually, because you really don't seem to be "on target" about much of anything...
Just like with the gun debate though, I invite you to continue with the childish insults. You make yourself look so much worse than I ever could. Edited by: NYURepublican at: 5/30/03 5:21:52 pm
