This is an open letter to all of the Town of Babylon Blue collar workers.

If you are serious about taking out Bellone and company you have to work for it.

First You should go to Local 237 and make sure that Bellone and company don?t get any union endorsements. (Schaffer is trying to twist the arms of the trades unions to endorse Bellone He gave one union your EAP program to run)

Second have 237 go to WFP not to endorse them. (They have connection in city)

Third and possibly the most important you have to help with the campaign.
You must go to Henrys or Republican party campaign headquarters and help stuff envelopes, walk a district, drop lit door to door , put up signs, take down signs or whatever it takes to win.

This election is yours to loose so if all that you have said on this site is true then you know that the only looser if Bellone wins will be you!!!

how could henry hurt babylon any more than the current administration,they have single handedly depleted the town work force which in turn hurts the tax payer.our town parks haven't looked this bad in ten years, and that not to fault the workers because there isnt any. equipment is devastated, they dont know how to properly manage road crews, landscape crews ect.

I believe Councilman Henry should be out there more, I believe that if anyone hears this man speak and watch his actions as a man, they would be amazed at how intelligent and down to earth he really is.

I was honored to work with him recently and was mainly there to work for anyone who is running againt Bellone.

While I was helping and really not knowing the man himself, I overheard him conducting business. I was amazed at his honesty and integrity and his abillity to handle quite a number of situations that were arising.

I don't know if Councilman Henry can win or not, I know that there are many of our employees who have absolutely had enough.

I will not tolerate there mismanagement and I will not tolerate thr anti-union beliefs and attacks.

I am a white collar CSEA member and we will do anything and everything we can to stop the horrors.

If the public only new and understood the on-goings of Town Government. It certainly has nothing to do with looks, or smiles or youth or age at all. It has to do with knowledge, some integrity, some morallity, some principles and most of all your work force. Who has put up with unbearable short comings from the administrative staff.

In thr infinite wisdom they place incapable people in positions of authority, some of which have no experience and basically rely on the union workers to make thr departments run.

I remember in the not so distant past that the CSEA put out a flyer asking for volunteers for the negotiating committee for our upcoming end of our 4 year contract. One of the responses that the local President of the TOB CSEA recved was from Councilman Lindsay Henry. I was amazed and thrilled, here is a man who wanted to help a union negotiate thr contract. It was 10 points up on the scale of who I would undoubtedly vote for.

Oh, by the way, in case anyone is interested, CSEA members vote, and they do live in the Town for which they work and if enough vote against Bellone, guess who will be our next Supervisor.

Oh, note: recently this administration announced it was going to hold another Employee appreciation day and went to the Blue Collar Union and asked the Union to contribute $500 to this Employee Appreciation Day. Sounds strange doesn't it and even stranger is that they said yes. Within a week the same question was posed to the White Collar CSEA Union and guess what the initial response was "WHAT?" Did I hear you right you would like your employees to give you the money to pose this day? The answer from White Collar was "NO!!!" And because it was no to Bellone he sent another to ask as if the question was never heard or understood.

WE UNDERSTAND PERFECTLY AND WE HAVE NICK-NAMED THE REQUEST THE BELLONE SCHOLARSHIP FUND.

How ridiculous is this, how ignorant is this? I'm done, I hve had it. I wish everyday that the Newspaper picks up on any of this and requests an interview.

I wish that the workers who knew the wrong doings were aloud to speak thr minds. I wish we could recall all the elections since the Democrats took office.

Know this all politician have criminal abilities, they are forced to deal the deals, but this group is so far done the pipe and so ignorant that more likely no one would believe the stupidity. They leap before they look and then try to pick up the pieces, of course in the process, the understaffed workers are double timming it to get there mistakes off the floor.

Oh, while I am venting, Blue Collar, take a hike, we the White Collar would never join forces with you. Maybe that's to your benefit, but we the White Collar Union are not paid to give our members advice. We are all volunteers trying to make decisions for the good of all. We don't go to union headquarters and not have to show up at work. We are there everyday, we do not get paid by the Town to stay at Union Headquarters to sort the problems of our co-workers, we are there in thr faces each day.

It makes me nervous knowing the lilttle I do about the goings on of the Blue Collar Regime, and I do not want to join forces ever.

Hang in there CSEA members we have much in the works and will not go down quietly. We will use all the legal tools at our means and this board of CSEA is not the type to take anything lying down.
