Mondello, the guy who's presided over the collapse from power of the once great Nassau County Republican Machine! Who, upon taking office from Joe Margiotta, inherited a party that controlled 85% of all locally elected and judicial office! Who's party brimmed with full local club memberships, committeepeople and a national reputation that attracted Presidential candidates. Twenty years into El Duce Mondello's reign, the GOP is half what it was.

He's got some nerve lecturing anybody on "damanged goods."

"Joseph Mondello, Nassau Republican chairman, acknowledges Suozzi remains a formidable force, but added that a lopsided primary loss could make the county executive "damaged goods," giving voters pause. He also said Suozzi's attacks may come back to haunt him. "I never saw a guy make as many gratuitous enemies as Tom," he said."

And if the self-described great one himself never saw a guy with so many enemies, he ought to look in the mirror.

As a GOP committeeman, I can tell you that Joe must GO!. Our party is getting creamed becasue of his lack of creativity, hard work and the 4 loaves of bread under each arm. Joe retire already you BUM!
