By allowing individuals to pay thr Recver ot Taxes statement, water bill, permit & applications fees online.

There is enough work to be done in TOH without sacrificing someone's job. It will just make thr job easier.

Step up to the plate, Kate. Take a stand. Give taxpayers
a break. Especially since TOH taxes will rise in January 2004.

The 19th Century is just fine for the Town of Hempstead. If payments can be made on line, then the recver of taxes might have to do without his Second Deputy, his Third Deputy, or his assistant to the First Deputy (even though there is no first deputy). Why should we give up any of our gravy train to make things any easier for the sheep.
