Mineola has a new executive leader. Jackie Carway has been given the nod to replace Mike Balboni.

Oh great! Another "leader" for the Nassau GOP.

The fact is, anyone supposedly leading Republicans anywhere in N. Hempstead - especially N. Hempstead - is really a Leader of Nothing.

The only time he'll get a call from 164 Post Ave. is when they need to check on how many tickets he's sold. Input on policy or politics is off limits and of no concern to the GOP hrarchy.

Quit now, while you're ahead, newest leader of nothing!

First it appears to me that the person(s) who wrote the two posts about lead of nothing and the person who referred to Jackie's wght are on the wrong page.
Secondly, typical democractic bs. Jackie is not a man she is a women. Also lets not start with personal attacks considering some of the personal attributes of the North Hempstead Democratic leaders.

1. Does Galante think he is fooling anyone with the bad combover?
2. Where's Mrs. DiNapoli? (Suozzi asked that question during the campaign were still waiting for the answer)
3. Fred Pollock sounds more like a carton charecter then an elected official.
4. Tony Durso is ready to retire to Italy not stay in America, sounds like a good American
5. How many town hall appointed employees do not live in the town?

As for Mineola's leader bng a leader of Nothing, lets see. State Senator, Republican, Most of the Village is Represented by Republican Assemblywomen, Village Mayor is a Republican, the Legislator is a Republican and the majority of the village board.

It appears that the Mineola area is a strong republican area. Only Galante's gerrymandering allowed DiNapoli to get a portion of the village and that was to get Galante in to his district.

It really would be more helpful and polite to leave personal attacks off the page. It serves no purpose.
