The Adjunct Faculty Association of Nassau Community College is proud to honor Legislator David Denenberg as it's 2003 Man of the Year".

First of all, we recall his defeating of ED WARD - The AFA's #1 Enemy Target in 1999!

Second, he's been the most recpetive and open legislator of them all. A strong advocate of the AFA's interests and positions.

As a Republican, I am also glad to hear of the news...Legislator Denenberg is one of the few honest and dedicated men currently serving within Nassau County government...congrats!

Do you mean Ed Ward works P/T at NCC, or that he attends P/T at NCC.

The first can't be true, you need some sort of degree to work in a meanigful capacity there.

But, if he's pursuing an AA in Communications that's a different matter, depending upon if he's first taking remedial classes to acquire people skills.

Proposed:

Republican Hacks who lose county elections shall be prohibited from gainful employment with any public organization containing the name of that county for a period of 12 years.

That would fix the guys goose and make him get a real job in a real area of productive life.

A Faculty/Staff search of the Nassau Community College website returns 'NO MATCH" on the name WARD.

What does he do there? Who does he work for? He's been kicked out of one job, he should be kicked out of this one too.

Where's the beef?

He does not work at Nassau Community College.

Perhaps thr extension office at the Nassau County Jail, but he does not work at the college. This comes right from one of the top college officials (8th floor - Tower). Also, no one on the BOT seems to favor this if it were indeed true, which it is not.

Anyway - he's got a SEVERE drinking problem and a drunk driving arrest. No one will take a chance on him.

He's had it, along with his erstwhile business consulting on municipal housing efforts.

I wouldn't be surprised at all, that Mr. Ed would take a plunge off the ghth floor after reviewing the county budget. Who could defend Republican stonewalling. In the midst of a fiscal crisis, these GOP imbeciles worry about a 9 year old girl horse draped with the American flag. Even Dennis "the menace" Dunne showed to County residents that he actually earns a county paycheck by rallying around the flag. I hop he doesn't shoot himself in the foot like he did in Vietnam.

Not one concrete solution to Nassau's fiscal problems
from the Nassau GOP, only stonewalling and whining like spoiled children.
