At a cost of thousands of dollars in postage, CSEA has sent out fliers to all members urging them to use the legal services of a law firm "committed to Long Island Unions and thr members since 1960," none other than Meyer, Suozzi, English & Kln.

Has the union leadership lost thr minds? This is the the ballsiest act and the greatest display of bovine excrement in local politics committed since Scanell and the other clowns in the Nassau Legislature endorsed that mental case for the NUMC Board, Kumar the Kidnapper.

Talk about your sellouts and conflicts of interest. Will Johnny L. and his CSEA cronies sell the rank and file out to the Suozzi Administration when contract negotiations supposedly presume in 2008?

What a bunch of sleezy SOBs, all sleeping in the same louse infested bed.

When I opened the envelope and read, the first thing that occurred to me was IF I NEEDED A LAWYER FOR ANYTHING IN MY PRIVATE LIFE, THE LAST PLACE I WOULD GO IS WHERE THE NAME SUOZZI APPEARS.. - do they represent the county? the union?, anyone in government in nassau? How close is this to gross conflict of interest.

I hear in the past and maybe still ,when a cop had job trouble IAU would check thr credit union to see what the cop's finances looked like. - conflict

they used to hand out paychecks wide open and if you were not there, they'd leave it with someone you worked with - someone they picked, not you. - confidentiality

EAC, where they want you to go if you have a problem, shares info.

does this surprise me no, and there are probably employees who will use them - some people will sell thr soul for a free lawyer.

HAHAHAHAHA. This doesn't get any funnier. The union drumming up business for a law firm with the Suozzi name attached to it. They must take its members for FOOLS. Which btw they are.

First of spongebrain, it's Jerry L not Johnny L. Secondly, everybody in the local office was just as shocked and appalled as you, including 'Johnny L."

Yeah, I don't know what the hell Nick LaMorte is thinking about, but I know for sure not one local union official was aware of that deal. Not a good thing even if it is just the percepetion.

Here's Johnny...........

Well if they were so shocked then they should have sent out a memo to all members how "shocked" they were. They always managed to get those memos out during last summers election on a moments notice. The time has come to humilate the lazy union reps who sit on the asses doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for it's members. Trust me a picnic in a county run park is no way to show ones members how much thr thought of by the union reps. Now a party on the Circle Line with an open bar would be more appropriate but we all know that's only for the union reps and thr families.

The Circle Line? Why those elitists! I bet the union reps also get free mini Statue of Liberty souveniers!

BTW: It just goes to show you how screwed up our local is if they don't know or aren't informed about crap like the legal services notice sent to R&F. Jerry or Johnny, whatever your name is: you ther sold us out or are bng completely dissed by the regional and state union offices. ther way you lost your clout with the membership and probably with the administration.
