who should be watched for seats

who are the people that will run this year all we have heard about is county exec and chair, who are the ones in the backround who are putting plans to run for town seats and county. I would like to know

Well, Council Districts are here to stay.

In Ward District 1, which is most likely going to be won by a Dem. it will ther be Chris Hahn or Steve Fiore-Rosenfeld.

District 2 - Lori Baldassere vs. Lefkowitz
Murphy just moved into the area, won't be on Town Board...something new.

District 3 - Esposito vs. ???

District 4 - The "John Jay LaValle Minority District"

District 5 - ???

District 6 - Hennessey vs. few names

Bhaven has it on the money foir District 1 unless it takes in Mt Sinai under a new realignment
District 2..not necessarily Lori..maybe Christina Lombardi, who had the most votes by a democratic challenger in the last election..and dont count out John Rouse.
District 3..theres possibilities there too

District 4...Lets get the maps finished..mayber at l 3 candidates..

5 and 6 are wide open too..there were some good candidates in the last election..they may be back..

Highway Super is wide open too...i think that depends on who can run for Town Board

and Lefkowitz is the one who moved into Murphy's area.
I also hear Gerard is running again..and word from Florida is Santoro might be in town for an election

Why would Mt. Sinai effect who runs in District 1? From what I have seen it would only be a very small percentage of the District.
